If you don’t have a huge budget and want to enjoy the vibrant life of Kathmandu, Thamel, then this is the perfect hotel for you! We will definitely stay there during our next visit.

The location is awesome, quiet but close to the Main Street and lake. The room is clean and overall amenity and breakfast are all great. Special thanks to the friendly staff at front desk who was very supportive to help find back the glass we lost and even help upgrade the room in our second stay (thanks Bipin !) :)

Comfortable room, hot shower, good location near the thamel but quieter, helpful staff, we were able to leave some of our bags there while trekking, 24h front desk received us at 1am

All members of the staff are incredibly kind and always ready to help and advise, taxi with price determined in advance... The hotel is very well located on a quiet street. The rooms with balcony/jacuzzi are particularly pleasant, everything is impeccable! The restaurant; the dishes prepared to order are excellent, the breakfast buffet is very good, very clean and on top a real professional coffee machine :-) Very pleasant roof terrace where you can have a drink, lunch or dinner with a 360° view of Kathmandu.

Hotel Jampa is set in Thamel and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The property is 2.9 km from Kathmandu Durbar Square and 3.1 km from Swayambhunath Temple. Excellent location in the heart of thamel Staff were very courteous. And very helpful Breakfast was good, and the ala carte menu was quite exceptional In summary, it was an excellent place. 5 stars
