Hotel is located in very nice area, walkable distance to lake and all the restaurants and cafe bars. Hotel is very nice and clean, rooms are tidy and spacious. Food in hotel was also very good. Staff is friendly and attentive.

Hotel Jampa is set in Thamel and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The property is 2.9 km from Kathmandu Durbar Square and 3.1 km from Swayambhunath Temple. I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The room was exceptionally spacious, providing plenty of space to relax after a long day of exploring the city. The bathroom was spotless, which is always a top priority for me when choosing a hotel. What truly stood out, however, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful, making me feel genuinely welcome throughout my stay. A special mention goes to the receptionist, Satishra, who was outstanding. Her warm smile and willingness to assist with every question made a huge difference. On top of that there is a free airport transfer. It saves you from being ripped off by local drivers. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kathmandu. With its comfortable rooms, cleanliness, and exceptional service, it’s a place I’ll definitely return to on my next visit!

We had very comfortable and relaxed stay at the hotel for one night before, and two nights after our Himalaya trekking. The hotel has very nice facilities, beautiful lobby, courtyard, pool; large, clean, and comfortable room, very good breakfast. All staff were super friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Vibash, because we would not be able to do the trekking as we planned without his help. When our arriving flight was delayed, Mr. Vibash personally went out his way, not only helped to pick us up from the airport, but also helped to secure all things required for trekking right after we arrived the hotel before time ran out.
