The room was clean, good hot shower, big balcony outside, downstairs has big common area, could read book, good breakfast, and the owner was very kind, offered us traditional coffee and homemade bread, and the restaurant was good as well.

A person was waiting for us with our names at the tiny airport. Check in was fast. The room was huge with colorful decor. A large balcony with excellent views of the country side. The dining hall is very attractive with local furniture. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The guide associated with the hotel provided a great tour of the ancient churches. The hotel is located in walking distance to the churches. The climate is cool year round. A simple breakfast of homemade bread, honey and eggs accompanied by strong Ethiopian coffee is provided.
