Facing the beachfront, Hotel Savana offers 3-star accommodation in São Filipe and features an outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Even though some of them didn’t speak very good English, they made a lot of effort to communicate with us. And they were very patient with our many requests. They also allowed us to check in earlier and check our later with no additional fees. Truly the best staff. The place looks better in real life than in the photos. It really has a colonial vibe. The AC worked perfectly - probably the best we experienced during our trip to Cabo Verde. We had an amazing view of the city, the sea and the Brava island (room no 9)

Great place to sip cocktails by the pool. A great place to stay after hiking the volcano and just doing nothing. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Featuring a garden, Casa da Djedja is located in Mindelo in the Sao Vicente region, 1.3 km from Praia Da Laginha and 600 metres from Torre de Belem. We especially loved the staff. They were soo helpful and friendly. We also loved the building and simple decor. Mindelo was great to go out at night.

Boasting a terrace, bar and views of city, Ocean Suites is situated in Santa Maria, 100 metres from Praia de Santa Maria. We normally stay in hotels but when we saw this place we thought why not give it a try, we were not disappointed and would highly recommend it, it is extremely loud between 10pm and 12pm but you are warned before you book we slept very well. The breakfast is very good we were very satisfied, the staff are the best bit of all they are all friendly and are happy at their work, they can't do enough for you. Lastly Dory in the office is the biggest asset to this business she did so much for us while we stayed and always checked in with us to make sure we were happy with our booked trip's which she helped us with she helped us have the best holiday.

We really enjoyed our stay at Palmeira Da Cruz. It's a small paradise at Cape Verde with all the luxuries you could want.
