Housed in a historic 19th-century building, this hotel is directly opposite Gothenburg Central Station on Drottningtorget Square. A courtyard or city view can be enjoyed from the rooms. It all went very well. The staff were friendly and very helpful and informative. They gave us lots of ideas for places to see and how to get around on the trams and ferries. The hotel restaurant food was excellent, breakfasts were very good indeed, dinners featured some local dishes too. The hotel has many historic features and its dining room is an amazingly lovely survival from an earlier age of elegance.

Just next to Liseberg, you can go in from the park and come back after a break, nice restaurants and cozy atmosphere. 7 elevators in the building (and a slide for children) details like that makes things smooth. Nice buffet for lunch, friendly staff - all just great. Great cozy areas for a drink, or spending time with the family. Everything from the welcoming entrance to the room is that little extra!

Classic first class hotel with well dressed attentive and courteous staff that makes you feel like a VIP. Unmarked limousine taxi at the lobby, best reataurant “Verandan” for the best Swedish smörgåsbord experience. Comfortable bed, I’ve towels!
