Ideally set in the centre of Santo Domingo, Hostal 53 Boutique Santo Domingo offers air-conditioned rooms, a terrace and free WiFi. Even before I arrived, the kind staff communicated well to assist in any requests I may have. When my 3 year old daughter and I arrived, we were greeted by a warm welcome from Michael and was happy to be quickly taken to a ground floor room after a long day of travelling. The room was clean, with cold AC and the bed extremely comfy. Although HB53 is on the outskirts of the colonial zone, it was still close enough to take a walk to get there. One thing I also appreciated was a 24 hour security which added to my sense of ease when I had to check out at 1:45 am. Thank you Michael and team, we will definitely be back.

The staff were super helpful and they always had a smile. The location is perfect, the facilities are amazing, some yoga classes included and the breakfast is really yummy. Strongly recommend.

Set in Las Terrenas, 200 metres from Punta Popy Beach, TAKUMA BOUTIK HOTEL offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. This place is a peaceful and beautiful oasis in the village of las Terrenas!! The location was perfect because was 3min walking from the beach and the main street but far enough to provide a peaceful stay away from the noisy nights of DR. The staff were super kind, both the daily and night receptionists were very attentive, kind and always willing to help. Thank you to Nathalie, the owner, because she gave us wonderful tips about places and beaches to visit. Breakfast was delicious and with several options. The room was big and spacious, with a terrace and direct access to the pool, like it was a private one! Everything was super clean and decorated with a lot of taste to evocate feelings of calmness and relax. And they even provide towels for the beach! We loved our stay! Thank you to all the staff!
