Well located in the Prague 1 district of Prague, Hotel Ikona is located 1.2 km from Prague Castle, 1.3 km from Prague Astronomical Clock and 1.3 km from Old Town Square. This was the cleanest hotel I have ever been to. Obviously recently renovated so all the facilities are brand new as well. The staff were professionals, friendly and gave us a lot of advice about the currency, places to see, transportation, etc. The breakfast was worth the extra cost as there is a buffet with a variety of fresh food (you can eat as much as you like) and you can order a coffee and a menu item which were also very well made. Their pannacotta is the best. Location is great, you can hear the peacocks from the park nearby, the tram stop is a very short walk from there and you can easily walk to most of the sights. A much quieter neighborhood compared to the other side of the bridge. I would definitely book the same place again but would probably choose a cheaper room.

A very nicely equipped hotel with many details. The rooms were quite large with all the equipment you need. Mini bar. The location is great. Tram connection. From the hotel, you have a few minutes' walk to the old town. Many restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel. The hotel also has a cafe with very good coffee. The breakfast was very good, you had many different dishes to choose from. If we ever return to Prague, we will definitely choose the same hotel again.
