Set in Kisoro, 47 km from Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Gorilla Leisure Lodge offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Gorilla Leisure Lodge totally blew me away. If you’re heading to Bwindi for trekking, this place is it—don’t look any further. I’ve traveled around Uganda before, and this was definitely one of my top stays. The quality of the lodge is way beyond what you'd expect for the price. Everything was new and spotless, the food was delicious, and the overall value is unbeatable. A huge shoutout to Madinah and the rest of the team—the people at Gorilla Leisure Lodge are among the kindest I’ve ever met. They went out of their way to make sure I was smiling from start to finish. We went gorilla trekking at Rushaga gate (amazing!) and the lodge is just a 15-minute drive away. Unlike some who have to wake up at 4 AM to drive an hour and a half on rough roads, you’re super close to everything here. Gorilla Leisure Lodge is a hidden gem thats only 15 minutes away from the gate. My only regret is that we stayed just one night. It would have been perfect to return after trekking and unwind on the porch with the beautiful mountain views. I would have loved to see the sunset and soak up more of the lodge’s serenity. Gorilla Leisure Lodge is top-notch, and the warmth of the team makes you feel right at home. I’ve already recommended it to my family, and I’d definitely come back in a heartbeat!

Located in Kangulumira, 31 km from Source of the Nile - Speke Monument, Adrift River Club provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The property was beautiful, the staff were very helpful and accommodating. I have now stayed at this property twice and each time it exceeds my expectations. If you're looking for a great place to stay that's NICE, clean, safe, able to cater to an international crowd, and affordable look no further! I plan to continue to take family and friends to visit as we travel to Jinja for trips. I also HAVE to shout out their on-site Manager, Robert. He is an INCREDIBLY thoughtful, professional, and seasoned manager. I WISH every hotel I stayed at had a manager like Robert. He ensures guests feel welcome, safe, and accommodated with whatever needs they have. I can't emphasize enough how important that is to me personally, and how much of a difference it makes when you're far from home, or traveling with friends.

The dinner and breakfast are delicious and served in buffet form so you can eat as much of all the goodies as you want. We arranged the Sipi Falls hike with Alex and our guide, Eric was knowledgeable and friendly. The accomodation is beautiful with a view point and a well maintained garden. Would recommend this little spot to anyone staying in the region.

Really beautiful remote safari lodge with incredible views, great rooms and lovely, helpful staff. We booked very last minute and the staff were super accommodating and attentive. We stayed in one of the tents down by the river Nile where you can hear and see the hippos at night! The tents feel completely remote and private and the sunsets over the river are stunning (i actually proposed to my girlfriend during one of these!!). There is a lovely, knowledgeable guide who can take you on game drives and other local safari adventures in Murchison national park and show you around the area. Can’t recommend this place highly enough, definitely worth a visit!
