The facility was wonderful, vibrant, open spaces on the slope of beautiful Wanale Ridge. The cabins were spacious and comfortable, but the best was the staff - everyone we met was courteous, kind, and accommodating. We had a very unique special request, staff went above and beyond helping us. We would be more than happy to stay again.

We really appreciated cool pool after driving on dusty roads. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. The place was really original (especially the decoration) and clean. We enjoyed beautiful view.

Rock Garden Sipi er staðsett í Kapchorwa og Sipi-fossarnir eru í innan við 6,6 km fjarlægð. Boðið er upp á verönd, reyklaus herbergi, ókeypis WiFi hvarvetna á gististaðnum og bar. Great stylish huts in a beautifully arranged garden - despite some minor construction going on, the place still felt very tranquil. The inside of the hut was surprisingly bigger than expected from the photos. Alex is a great host, he and his lovely family and staff were able to pack our short visit with an interesting coffee tour in the evening, a beautiful waterfall hike in the morning and some delicious meals in between. Overall I am very happy we chose Alex's place for our stop in Sipi and wouldn't hesitate to stay longer if time allowed. As a very thoughtful bonus, Alex's kids even hosed down our awfully dirty car (mud-splashed from our previous travels) when we were on our hike.

It was my birthday and the manager was great so kind everyone’s communication is with respect when everyone knew it was my birthday ! They notified each other and everyone was wishing me a happy birthday felt too good was by my self but felt I had ppl around 🥰 the stuffs are amazing Pamela , Kenneth, Ronny are great people

Gorilla Leisure Lodge totally blew me away. If you’re heading to Bwindi for trekking, this place is it—don’t look any further. I’ve traveled around Uganda before, and this was definitely one of my top stays. The quality of the lodge is way beyond what you'd expect for the price. Everything was new and spotless, the food was delicious, and the overall value is unbeatable. A huge shoutout to Madinah and the rest of the team—the people at Gorilla Leisure Lodge are among the kindest I’ve ever met. They went out of their way to make sure I was smiling from start to finish. We went gorilla trekking at Rushaga gate (amazing!) and the lodge is just a 15-minute drive away. Unlike some who have to wake up at 4 AM to drive an hour and a half on rough roads, you’re super close to everything here. Gorilla Leisure Lodge is a hidden gem thats only 15 minutes away from the gate. My only regret is that we stayed just one night. It would have been perfect to return after trekking and unwind on the porch with the beautiful mountain views. I would have loved to see the sunset and soak up more of the lodge’s serenity. Gorilla Leisure Lodge is top-notch, and the warmth of the team makes you feel right at home. I’ve already recommended it to my family, and I’d definitely come back in a heartbeat!

It’s a beautiful, quiet, and slightly isolated place. The service is amazing and the food is great. I managed to work on a project using my cellular data. Both MTN and Airtel work fine on the island, though outside of the room.

Location is really great as there are plenty of birds and even some occasional wildlife to keep you occupied even when out of the national park. The sunset over the river is exceptionally beautiful.
