Some previous negative reviews almost dissuaded me from staying here, but I’m very glad I took a chance. If you want an ostentatious luxury resort, this is not the place for you.
But if you want a charming, rustic, clean, comfortable stay with hot showers, cool a/c, and a tender delicious steak dinner, all reasonably priced, this is your place. Did I mention the beautiful setting? As a bird watcher, I enjoyed seeing the Roadside Hawk, tanagers, and woodcreeper. Another plus, Chacchoben Archaeological Zone is a 20 minute ride away.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful spot. The owners and staff are wonderful. This was our honeymoon and we look forward to returning on our first anniversary.

If we would be able to rate 7 Cielos at 12 out of 10, we would do it. The place is amazing, the location at the water almost too good to be true. The kitchen is convenient and very cosy, kayaks at disposal to explore the lake, which was a lot of fun. Sunbeds ans hammacks in the water finish the experience. Don't use this place as a stopover, but spend at least 2 nights here to enjoy the peace, the nature & the magic!
