Excellent location. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Loved the nightly activities (live band, movie night). Also, dont waste your time to book excursions outside of Arena, they have either the lowest or same prices as the other companies around the island.

Small little island with best-in-class customer service.
Small little island with best-in-class customer service. Few selection of hotels, few selection of restaurants, but overall perfect for a 3 to 5 day trip with tourist activities. I got to swim with sharks, turtles and stingrays for a very low price! As low as $35 USD for a full day tour with Kaani.

There are people from many countries there, Mostly locals run the water activities and pastry shops. Food is a bit expensive. Don't forget to try parasailing which takes you to a magnificent view from the sky. We were lucky to see Dolphins even while we were riding the JetSki. Sharks trip, Wrecked Ship, SandBank is must to see.

So many options to choose for dinning out, I actually came back with more money than i expected. i did everything that i wanted to do, days out you are spoilt for choice from so many companies.
I personally used Icom for trips out, one reason as i was staying at the Icom Marina you get a discount, i also asked guests who had already been on days out about them. all feedback was positive.
I for one will be returning. I read some reviews about the Party boat not being a good experience for them. I visited it 3 times and all i saw was a lot of people enjoying themselves and having a good time. as the saying goes "whatever floats your boat" There is building work on the Island but i can honestly say it never interfered with any aspect of my Holiday.

I genuinely fell in love with Maafushi.
I genuinely fell in love with Maafushi. The beautiful landscape and the friendly locals are unparalleled to anywhere I have been before. If you are an ocean lover, you will feel very comfortable here and like me, not want to leave. I recommend booking a scuba diving session, it shows a whole other side to the Maldives than you can see at the surface or by just snorkelling.

I really liked the atmosphere on Maafushi, very chilled, I wasn't constantly harassed by people trying to get me to eat in their restaurants. I found the island very quiet and peaceful but I was there out of season and I suspect it can get much busier.

Island is not far from the airport, the possibility of various water sports and day trips The best sites for diving with sharks and eagle rays at the nearby Kandoma Tila site. I have about 25 dives there. In the island is many dining options and many shops.
Visal, the manager was extremely helpful from the time of check-in to check-out.
The front desk staff were polite and professional.
Maafushi is a really happening place, lot of locals and tourists, beautiful beaches. There's a lot of water sports centers, hotels, good joints, scuba diving center. Basically if you love having an active holiday, this is the place for you.
One of the best hotels from Maafushi. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room had amazing view and impeccable clean ( after our check out I saw that they cleaned the room for more than 1 hour, including glass walls of the balcony, on inner and outer side, too). Also they cleaned the room every day perfectly.
Breakfast was also very good.
everything in the room was sparkling clean, they cleaned the room daily.
the location was perfect-in middle of the bikini beach and ferries (but considering the size of the island all the hotels are more or less the same location)
staff is very friendly and helpful
bed was comfy, everything in perfect working order
The reason brought me to this hotel was the snorkling tour they conducted , its the best of the island and thanks to booking.com for listing such a good property with best price and quality people. next time i will come again.
