Old rooms. They were large but very old. Everything was dated. Felt like staying in a 60s motel

They have a lovely home and the rental unit is easily separated so you can come and go easily. The bed was comfortable and a nice view over the park. They thought of guests needs and really provided what may be wanted. Nicely laid out for a good stay. The breakfast they provided was perfect and the little kitchenette made it so simple too.

The house is beautiful and set in the rolling hills outside of Cambridge. Our hosts were even better. From the moment we arrived we were treated as honored guests. They hit the balance between attentive and relaxed.

Absolutely beautiful. The house is perfect inside and out. Beds are very comfortable and everything one needs is there. The scenery is truly remarkable. Hosts were welcoming and lovely people. An excellent location for Hobbiton, night glow-worm kayaking, and other main north island venues. An easy drive from Hamilton airport. I've already recommended to friends.

ALD would be the cleanest holiday accommodation we have ever stayed at. Friendly hosts, but not intrusive.

The village of Cambridge offers excellent shopping and dining. I would highly recommend visiting this area of NZ and plan to have at least two to three days exploring this part of the world. Very picturesque.

Myself and colleagues describe Cambridge similar to a quaint English countryside township. It’s quiet and the locals are welcoming and friendly. A great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Would love to move here I love it that much!

Our Motel was very convenient to town, in fact walkable if you like a bit of exercise. An easy drive to many restaurants. The Thai restaurant 'Sila' was exceptional, great value and generous servings. 2nd night we ate Italian at 'Alpino' Best pizza I have eaten in NZ by a long shot. Great menu. The town is so easy to walk around and has great shops and there is a real buzz. Best Butcher shop on the main street to.

When visiting Cambridge you've gotta try the yummy kai at Kebabilicious along the main street - a real taste of "Turkey" our favorite lunch spot :)
And for dinner check out Hanoi Boy [closer to Police Station end of town] for equally delicious Vietnamese kai ;)

We visited Cambridge mainly to catch up with family. We always enjoy our visits though this time was much more enjoyable staying independently but close by. The town and shopping was very close, so meals etc, and some extra shopping was easy and fun.

Perfect for a weekend getaway for two, and will be fantastic for a family in the summer with the pool.
The hosts are very friendly and welcoming and make you feel at home. The accommodation is spotless and well appointed.
It’s a short drive to the city centre with lots to do, see and buy. Don’t miss the weekend markets in Cambridge and Hamilton.
I was only guest that night so got personal attention from host - a very engaging English lady. Building (ca.1920s) was originally a hotel, has had other uses, and has been restored as boutique B&B. Huge room, huge bed, well fitted bathroom, walk-in wardrobe even. It's just off the main street in Cambridge with lots of shops and eateries nearby.
Clean and tidy everywhere we went. No 1 Motel in Cambridge exceeded our expectations, which we appreciated. Cheap and cheerful and we are so glad there was availability at such short notice. We stayed in Rms 20 & 21.
Second time staying, will be repeat guest if have to go back to Cambridge.
Clean, good beds, excellent price. Breakfast good. Walking distance to downtown.
