The dinner was largely delicious (their mountain bread offering, before entrees, is magically delicious), and reasonably priced. Lovely host& property. Very clean and cosy. We enjoyed the view on Saana, the sound of flowing water, and excellent sauna. There was plenty of space for the four of us and the kitchen was well equipped, enabling us to cook&eat well.

Easy to find and the parking place is next to the apartment.
Supper location. I know the place to stay when being at Kilpisjärvi.
Hiking trails are well signposted. The supermarket at the center is very good. Public transport connections could be better but the twice-daily bus to/from Rovaniemi is very reliable. Tour operators organize day tours to the Acrtic Sea in Norway. They sound good but unfortunately were cancelled in summer 2021 due to the covid crap.

Views in Kilpisjärvi area during ruska season are mind-blowing.
Tundrea hotel allowed us to swim in Kilpisjärvi, although we didn't stay at Tundrea. There is no common beach in Kilpisjärvi.

We really enjoyed the villa as it offered everything we may have needed. Had a lot of space and storage for us and our things.
Kitchen was well equipped, parking right outside the door, very quiet and calm area.
Close enough to walk to the store, walking tracks ec, (even though car might be to recomend)
It's a code for the door which makes arrival extremely easy as you don't need a set time.
I would book again if I find myself in Kilpisjärvi again.
Excellent breakfast and lovely dinner as well. The staff was absolutely amazing and very helpful. The view to Saana is breathtaking and the location of the hotel is very good, only few minutes from all the major nature trails of the area. This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in Finland. Not just plastic Lapland decor for foreign tourists, but an authentic place with wonderful atmosphere.
Tsahkal-suite was good size for two adults and two dogs, everything is brand new and they have a pretty view to Saana. Excellent location near Kilpisjärvi's services. Amazing customer service. Breakfast has large selection and is very tasty. All foods from restaurant were possible to get also gluten free (and take away if one wants to eat in own cabin). Would definetly come again!
The house was great layout, super clean (looked like everything was brand new. Beds were comfortable and all equipment worked and very good quality. Plenty of nice glasses, Cutlery and other kitchen wear.
The location in lower kilpisjarvi was great, super quiet with reindeer walking about. Would definitely stay again.
Our two-week stay in Kilpisjärvi was nothing short of magical. This cabin exceeded expectations with breathtaking views, frequent Northern Lights displays, and a cozy interior.
