My family got the key went to room and found roaches on bed and bathroom floor. They came out to speak with a very rude person who said he had no one to clean room and they where totally book so couldn’t change room. He took the key my family did not stay there. They did not refund me the money because I used booking. Com to make reservations. There also appeared to be men wandering around the hotel entrance. Reported to the obnoxious desk person who stated we were giving him a hard time. Booking .com is impossible to reach or even have them return correspondence won’t use them ever again either.

Great value as other hotels or motels are much more expensive. Staff is very friendly and ready to help whenever you call for something. Place is also nicely quiet. No noisy neighbors and I stayed a week!

The property was extremely well priced for what you get, the lake is beautiful, and it's a short drive from our crabbing/clamming spot (the purpose of our trip). The host was very responsive.
I honestly don't think it can be beat. For the price of a moderately priced hotel you're getting a small house to yourself with a full kitchen + washer and dryer. You also get access to a gym and spa, but my wife and I didn't utilize those so we can't speak on them.

Staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Even though they found themselves understaffed and fully booked for that weekend, they still made an effort to see we had a comfortable stay. Dog friendly!!!

When I first arrived, no one was at the front desk I had to wait about 10 mins until someone came up front to check me in, once checked in my original room was very dirty, there was a crack pipe in the bedroom dresser drawer, and someone else's soap was in the bathroom shower, I immediately went back down to the main office and complained, the manager was nice enough and he gave me another room, so....once in the other room that was a little dirty too, I asked the manager for my money back but he firmly told me no and that I couldn't get my money back at all!!! So, I decided to stay and give the room a chance. ALL night long someone above me was walking hard and running back in forth my room was also next to an ice machine so I kept hearing the ice machine refill and empty most of the night at this point I decided not to complain I just made up in my mind that I would just check out a day early I was due to stay two nights at this point I didn't not care about losing money I just wanted to go home so I checked out at 9am the next morning and I would never book that location again!!!!

Breakfast is in a bag and the distribution times very limited. They are somewhat cheap with towels and blaming it on covid. The pool in your picture was lit. We saw no such thing while we were there . It was always dark. If you don't mind stuff like that, it is not too bad.

The room was disgusting.
The room was disgusting. I walked in..looked around...walked back out. Told the man at the desk that I was not staying and wanted a refund. he said there would be no issues getting refund, but after 96 hours.. I still have not received a refund. Apparently there is some issue with getting a hold of someone at this dump.

Pluses: working AC; table and two chairs where I and my husband can seat for a lunch or dinner; clean bedding; working microwave and refrigerator.
Minuses:outdated and dirty room, dirty doors ( this is very important for me to stay in a clean room) ; no breakfast even it is listed

It is nice to get away for a break.
It is nice to get away for a break. There isn’t anything fancy but it’s clean and has parking outside your door. The staff is helpful. The diner is close and has good food. A quick trip to AC is always good for entertainment. Winery is close. Smithville is close. Have fun!
The most impressive thing was just how polite and caring the hotel staff was especially The Manager at least I assume she was the manager. She was so polite and so professional and very caring the room was a basic room, but it was very clean and very accommodating definitely with the money I was able to get plenty of sleep I was there for work and just needed a place to sleep that was clean with no noise. I’m going back, mainly because of how nice the lady was to me and how clean the room was.
This hotel was a fair deal. There are several other hotels/motels to choose in the area. As others have mentioned, I wish there would have been a small table and a chair to have your breakfast at. I guess eventually they will reopen the small breakfast area for seating. I suspect that in season there would have been a lot more noise in the hotel.
The room was clean. We loved the huge tv mounted on the wall. The place was a good value. The front desk attendent was nice. We were a little worried about staying at a lower budget hotel (short stay but didnt want to spend 600 night on a casino room) but this rated to us as OK for the dollar.
The hotel is beautiful, good location. Located near a golf court, boardwalk and ocean city.
Our room is pretty spacious, especially the bathroom. It is important for family with kids.
