We spent 10 days at the hotel and left with mixed feelings.
For every positive point we had, there was always a little "but" that spoiled the overall impression.
- We were traveling with a dog and staying at hotel was free of charge for the pet. But before entering the room, we signed an agreement with a long list of requirements for the dog's behavior in the room. As a dog owner I can say that they are almost impossible to fulfill. But it was the last time somebody in the hotel told us about these rules, so they really love pets :)
- Of the 4 hotel managers we communicate with, Olga was the one who best met our own subjective expectations of courtesy and hospitality. She was interested in our comfort. We are very grateful for everything she did for us.
- Our room on the 6th floor had a beautiful view of the sea and the old town.
- The bed is comfortable and soft, but it is two beds with two mattresses with a joint between them. And you just can fall between.
- All our requests and problems were dealt with very quickly.

I loved everything about my stay here! The rooms are absolutely beautiful. They left nothing out when it comes to design and amenities. Breakfast each morning was a lovely assortment of fruit, cheese, vegetables, desserts,eggs upon request and much more. Wonderfull nature and sea. many large beach areas for public use across the Budva. beautifu lsunset and sundown views. you can take a bottle of wine and hangout at the beaches.
Food: If you are not looking too fancy restaurant, lunch can cost 10-12 euros, dinner can cost 19-20 euros per person which is good. small markets try to not accept card payment which is not good.
Environment: I went to budva end of may, there was a very large noisy and highly dusty constraction was on going middle of the Budva's main road. Constructions must stop at the begining of summer season.
People: average kindness, conversations can be hard depends on how small business you stoppped by. small buffet's workers for example dont speak english.
Marina in Budva: marina is too close to beaches. too many boats makes the sea's surface greasy
Sunbeds and Umbrellas: many private beaches exist all over budva. some of them ridiculously expensive. please dont forget this: If you are in Budva in high season and you are solo traveller, sunbed and umbrella can cost you apox. 25 euros. mostly beach business pricing solo travellers for 2 person. and they are rejecting to cut the cost half down. But same time there is many public beaches exist.
Becici beach area pricy then other side of Budva, at the same time relatively organized.
Night life: definitelly party city. coctail bars and night clubs every where. Long drinks and coctails prices are very reasonable.

Finding a representative in the office to receive the guests...
Finding a representative in the office to receive the guests does not exist, so it is necessary to locate the representative. We were assured by the restaurant in an email coordinated with the Booking company that we would receive an apartment on the 2nd floor due to a disability and also due to our being Shabbat observant and not using the elevator and when we arrived at the restaurant when we met the representative named Stephan he gave us an apartment on the 6th floor, when we explained to him that we were approved for an apartment on the 2nd floor he said that there is no room and if we want to cancel the invitation. The rabbi of the Chabad house also spoke to Stefan to no avail. We suffered a lot on Saturday. In coordination with Booking we were told that we could pay by credit card and the representative Stefan said that the payment was in cash only and thus we had difficulty organizing cash. The television did not work and the representative Stephan tried to turn it on and failed and said he would send a technician to take care of the problem and the whole week the problem was not taken care of and we were left without a television. There was a roll and a half of toilet paper in the bathroom, we asked Stefan to bring more, he promised he would and did not, we bought it independently.
We received 2 large and 2 small towels, we asked for additional towels and Stefan said they would be washed and after another request we received another set. Toilet cleaning material was not in the toilets, we bought it independently.

Budva is a wonderful place to stay if you want to wander around its beautiful beaches. I would recommend going to the city itself during the high season as it is not too exciting when there are little to no tourists there.

I have just got back from 2 weeks away in small resort just outside Budva. I thought it useful to give my thoughts on Budva which might help those considering Budva for the first time.
Montenegro, especially Budva and surrounding area is nothing more than a construction site is, dirty, dusty noisy place. Broadly speaking I was totally underwhelmed, despite the ravings of one or two articles I read about Budva before my trip.
The resorts relies heavily on its once beautiful and impressive albeit rather small Old Town, beyond that very disappointing - namely strip of pebbly, gritty, dirty beaches with sunbathers packed like sardines unable for the great part to manoeuvre their sunbeds. A proliferation of pizza takeaway shops, beaches littered with plastic bottles, trash and cigarette butts. Shantytowns, very scruffy in places and a generally an unsmiling, unfriendly local population (could this be due to language difficulties, more focused on Russian tourists?) Broadly similar where ever you go in Montenegro.
Would I return. No, not even if I was paid to return, I would never go back.

A touristic city.
A touristic city. Nothing else rather than tourism here, or swimming at the sea at season I guess. The city is composed mostly of 3-5 storey buildings. There are picturesque mountains around but you cannot really walk there, at least not without riding up by taxi. Lots of construction work around, sometimes you are confused how to go because whole streets are closed. There is nice litte "old town" touristic spot, I liked it the most of all.
First of all, the owner and staff of the hotel were very friendly. The gentleman who owns the hotel gave us all the necessary information in English. The breakfasts were very nice. It was very thoughtful of them to offer us other options since we couldn't eat certain things. Air conditioning and free wifi were very helpful. Hotel cleanliness and room service was incredible. The scenery was beautiful. If I come to Montenegro again, it is definitely a place I will stay. Thank you Larimar Hotel.
Everything was perfect on this stay! The room is very comfortable. The shower is very nice! Everything what you need is there. This hotel is not only very nice, but is is very personal. The hostess is extreme friendly and want to help you with everything. The breakfast is also really delicious and fresh prepared. I recommend anyone going to montenegro to stay in this hotel! The old town is very near.

The accomodation is very close to one of the best beach in Montenegro the Jaz beach, but it's only 15 min drive from Kotor which was our personal favourite and also 15 min from Budva center.
Also there is a shop if you need anything for just only 5 min walk from the accomodation.
Nice, big flat, with a lot light inside. Big balcony from who you can see mountains of Montenegro. Really good internet if you need for work. It have everything to comfort life of 3+ persons. To reach a beach you need only 20 min. Owner always was in web and answer really fast. Also give recommendations how reach Budva from Podgorica.
