It was very near a nice beach to walk to. The room is big and clean and has a big balcony. Their staff are super friendly and helpful. We availed of the breakfast and dinner buffet and it was worth it. They have a nice variety of food as well.

The Hotel is beautiful. Smart, clean, quiet. We had a lovely 7 night stay. The pools are lovely - if a bit cold! We stayed on a B&B basis, which suited us as we went out into the town of an evening to eat out. Breakfast was plentiful and of a good quality. There's a snack bar by the pool for lunch - nothing special but the food was tasty and kept us going until dinner. There are enough sunbeds for the residents - certainly in mid-September - and we even spent a day on the beach for a change of scenery.
Our room was spacious and well appointed. The shower was hot and powerful and the housekeeping was efficient. Our balcony overlooked the pool area and we had a good sea view.
There were entertainments during the day and evening - we played minigolf and water polo. Entertainers in the evening supplied music and dancing. We also had a massage in the spa, and a spell in the jacuzzi. Very relaxing!
The town of Costa Calma is spread out for quite a way, so we didn't go further than about half an hour walk. There are half a dozen great restaurants there; we'd recommend B-side for a lovely relaxing dinner with a cool vibe, and El Pellizco (just opposite) for a proper high end night out. The 555 Tapas restaurant above the Spar is also superb.
The staff are helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Everyone spoke excellent English and didn't laugh at my pidgeon Spanish. The beer is very good and the cocktails on the roof terrace at the end of the night rounded off a perfect day here.
Overall, we were blown away by how nice this hotel is. It's so lovely to have peace and quiet without screaming kids! The architecture is very tasteful and it's so clean. There are even a couple of cats who wander around making friends. We saw the 'Privilege' area, but to be honest, I'm not sure it would be worth it to upgrade as it didn't seem you got much more for the upgrade.

A quiet part of Fuerteventura, but plenty of restaurants and bars to suit those who want to spend the evening away from the hotel.
We ate at B-side (twice!) - lovely food and decent cocktails and wine. Friendly service and good views. We treated ourselves to a night at El Pellizco, which will be Michelin starred one day, I'm sure of it. And 555 Tapas was really good too.

Costa Calma is a quite resort with no real centre, most of the hotels are all inclusive so not really an issue. It’s pretty hilly and some of the footpaths are in disrepair. There is a long palm tree park through the centre of the resort but unfortunately there is an awful lot of litter and and bottles and beer cans around and the locality in general is a bit shabby, especially in comparison to Moro Jable, Caleta or Corralejo. There are a number of derelict hotels and bars around the area and locals said a lot of them shut up for good during Covid. There is generally only a hand full of bars and restaurants outside of the hotels and a few small indoor shopping centres selling the usual touristy stuff. Nothing like the strips of bars, restaurants, clothing and perfume shops you will find in Moro Jable or Corralejo.

The Costa Calma is an excellent location for a family trip, but a car is a necessity here. The roads are sometimes scary except for one main highway. The beaches are amazing, but the access is sometimes tricky. If you are looking for a party vibe, go to Ibiza. This is still a quiet place with amazing scenery and beautiful beaches.

Relatively quiet, beautiful city, not too many tourists.
Relatively quiet, beautiful city, not too many tourists. Good beach, you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas. There are several shopping centers, grocery stores. There are not many restaurants. Public transport stops running early in the evenings, it does not disturb sleep at night. The city parks are a little wild. From Costa Calma you can go to the nearest town Morro Jable by public transport, spending only 25 minutes on the way. You can go shopping, visit the many restaurants on the ocean shore, enjoy the panoramic view from the highest points of the city or just spend the day on the white sand beach. You can also cross the island from Costa Calma on foot (about 4 km each way) and see the wild, rocky coast with gigantic waves.

In general, costa calma is among top three places to serve as a base to visit the island. The apartment is located in a modern building in a very quiet location, 15 minute walking to the beach (several beaches to choose from depending on preferences). The apartment is very professionally managed, it's extremely well equipped (way above typical standard) and beds are very comfortable. Seaview is great bonus. Last but not least, Aurelio was an excellent host.
Nice, cozy and well furnished apartment with amazing views. Great location right by the beach. A good starting point to explore the island. It is great price alternative to more expensive hotels&resorts in the area. Communication with the owner was easy and fluent; pictures and information were all accurate. Even though the access road is not paved, it is well maintained so it was fairy easy to park a car.
The perfect location for a small family getaway. Most of the clientele at the hotel are older couples. If you're looking for partying and nightlife, this isn't the place to go. If you want a relaxing vacation with great food and amazing views, look no further than Risco del Gato and Costa Calma! Restaurant Terraza del Gato adjacent to the hotel is 10/10.
Location nearby costa calma beach is convenient, also you can find parking spots nearby, grocery stores and restaurants. Staff put on a great effort on making the stay pleaseant. Swimming pool facilities are perfect if the weather is windy in the beach. I loved the open gym facilities
The building overlooks a huge coastal lagoon popular with wind and kite surfers which attracts many marshland birds when flooded. Nearby Costa Calma offers many restaurants and shops. The Apartment was well equipped and maintained.
