What a beautiful town. Golf, hiking, great views. Hotel was great (Hotel Sonne), everything was within walking distance to the hotel. Brand is an absolute gem and if you don't grab a couple days here when going through Austria, you'll miss out considerably. I rate this as my favourite place to stay during our 16 day holiday in Austria.

It was a very nice stay. We felt like at home. The hosts were very nice, helpful and available at any time to make our stay a lovely one ! We recommend it.
The location in Brand is perfect, there are a lot of hikes that start in the area. The appartment was very spacious, quite, comfortable and clean with all appliance needed (dish washer, coffee machine, micro wave, oven,…).
We arrived too late for the normal check-in. I contacted the hotel via Booking the moment I saw we were running late, they answered quickly and arranged everything for us. It was just a short stopover for us. We left immediately after breakfast, which was a nice buffet and extra options to order from the kitchen.
The view from our room was magical ❄️✨️
Excellent information upon arrival. Easy to find. Regular bus service running from the train station to the head of the valley. Hotel is close to all amenities and accessible directly on foot to a number of hikes. Room with the balcony had a fantastic view. Breakfast had a great selection, fresh food and plentiful. Wonderful family run hotel.
