A really great value for the town. The owners do a good job of making this older facility cheerful and comfortable. The bed had a medium firm base, but enough cushion at the top to support the curves of my lower body. The kitchenette is well-stocked with a toaster, cutlery, and dishes. I appreciated the fridge with separate freezer that had ice cube trays. It was great to have air conditioning and reliable internet. It is only 1-block off the main downtown street. An easy walk to everything the town has to offer. The front desk staff was helpful getting oriented to the sites of interest for us.

WONDERFUL stay. This has got to be the best destination in the Daintree. Wonderful accommodations, relaxing energy, beautiful rainforest, and incredible folks working here. If you are looking for the best spot between Daintree River and Cape Trib this is it.

I loved how it was close to the beach and very quiet and peaceful. With a little driving most attractions were close by or within half hour. Spending time in the Daintree was spectacular and I found most of the visitors were respectful of the tranquillity.
Half an hour to Port Douglas for shopping or spending the day driving up to Cape Tribulation, river cruise, all great adventures.
