Located in Cotonou, 26 miles from Ouidah Museum of History, Hotel Du Lac has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness center and a garden. Everything went very well. This is the third time I have come to the Hôtel du Lac, and I have never been disappointed, the hotel meets my expectations. I particularly appreciate the kindness and help of the staff, the breakfast, the swimming pool and the shuttle service to/from the airport.

The breakfast wasn't that interesting. 1st day was good but afterwards the breakfast became quite boring. The location was quite good.

Abomey Events is located in Abomey and has a restaurant and a bar. With a terrace, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Very nice location and friendly staff. The chef of the restaurant, Mr. Cedrick, is really a high level chef!

Facing the beachfront, Tahiti Hotel offers 3-star accommodations in Cotonou and features an outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace. Great location and excellent management from the top down. Food was excellent and the staff were fantastic. AC was cold, and the shower was hot. There are electricity issues in Cotonou at the moment but quickly resolved with the use of the onsite generator. Love it when you get the basics right !

RESIDENCE MGA HOTEL is a 4-star property located in Ouidah. Breakfast is available daily, and includes à la carte, continental and Italian options. Ouidah Museum of History is 2.1 miles from the... Our stay at MGA Residence in Ouidah had its positives but also a few challenges. The rooms were spacious and very clean, though slightly dark due to limited natural light from smaller windows. Set within a mall complex, the property has a cozy feel, though the surrounding structure gives the plot a more enclosed atmosphere. Dining at MGA Residence is a notable experience, as the hotel has been praised for its food. The bar and restaurant are the only outdoor seating areas available, offering a relaxing atmosphere, although we did encounter some differences in the menu expectations. For example, the "grilled fillet" arrived as meat sliced on skewers and cooked differently than anticipated. The fish, however, was fresh and well-prepared, a nice highlight for seafood lovers. The breakfast setup is worth mentioning, as it’s included for only one person per room. The basic breakfast offering consists of small pieces of bread, jam, tea, and instant coffee—simple but sufficient. A key inconvenience we encountered was that the hotel did not accept credit card payments, as the machine was reportedly out for repairs. Fortunately, they accepted cash in U.S. dollars. Finally, the staff was friendly and accommodating, eager to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Overall, I would recommend MGA Residence as a comfortable option in Ouidah.
