Kangaroo House is a gem of a Craftsman Bungalow, with lovely decor and a spectacular front porch, all surrounded by a nice garden. The breakfasts were gourmet, creative, delicious, and beautifully presented - high-end restaurant quality all the way. Location is convenient to the charming town of Eastbound, and Moran Park - a natural paradise. And it is an easy, pleasant drive to the Ferry Terminal. The best aspect of our stay was the hosts - Jill and Charles are special people....warm, kind, bright, and great conversationalists. This was our best B&B experience ever

Location very nice—private yet close to everything we needed—very well taken care of property. . .
We highly recommend Orcas Island / Eastsound. We enjoyed the stunning views, the beaches, the parks and the kid friendly trails, the galleries, shops and bakeries and a whale watching excursion. We prepared most of our own meals, but had a delicious lunch at Buck Bay Shellfish Farm, bread from Orcas Bakery and our last breakfast from Brown Bear Bakery. We loved Orcas Pottery. Our whale watching with Outer Island Excursions was a highlight of the trip. We got to see two humpback whales put on a show! Loved this place and wish we had stayed longer.

We love driving around the island, visiting different harbors and bays. It didn’t rain so we had an amazing time. Really liked having the hotel so close to being in town and everybody was very friendly. You can’t beat the views, and every part of the island is a wonderful place to visit. Very relaxing. If you like beautiful, ocean views, farms, and relaxing this is the place to go. Mount Constitution is a must and deer Harbor also. We shopped at the local stores which have amazing art. There’s a little print shop in town that is a must visit where you can get custom shirts. The co-op is a nice small market, and the leather shop is a great visit. There is an outdoor gear place that has beautiful jackets if you forgot to bring the right coat. We ate at the orcas Inn for breakfast and also the new leaf café, which was definitely worth visiting.

Cute little town with lots of artsy stuff. A few good restaurants and a large grocery store. Its the main place to go for anything you need on the island. Nice public beach and day use dock for dingy or small boats.

Nice art galleries with quality work.
Nice art galleries with quality work.
More about Shore Thing house. Products used in house that created a overwhelming smell that made me sick. Had to immediately launder cloths when returning home and take a shower. Furniture and bedding reeked of this perfumed soap.

Version doesn’t work very well on the island.
Version doesn’t work very well on the island. So when you go work with the locals. The management company’s have no clue what to do or how to do it. They say they will get back to you but when your phone doesn’t work that’s hard to do.

We loved this place so much - quiet and relaxing even on a holiday weekend, and ideally placed to visit all parts of the island. Loved the beachside bar and hot tub and the staff were fantastic. Even though the cabin was the smallest one on site, it had all the basics. And the sunsets are unbeatable. Check out the ebikes in nearby Eastsound - by far the best way to see Orcas.
Beautiful historic resort hotel in a stunningly beautiful location. Food was exceptional, pools and saunas dated but well-kept and relaxing to enjoy. Staff helpful and friendly, massage treatment at the spa was wonderful.
Lovely unit with a balcony overlooking the water. Wonderful location right in Eastsound, easy access, easy parking, clean. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
