We love that the beach was right there. It was a family friendly hotel. I have four young kids and it was perfect for us. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We plan on going back. I also liked having a kitchen there to prepare food. It saved us money. This hotel was budget friendly.

It was a clean and good place to stay close to anything you would want to do in Port Aransas . New Owner is very willing to help in any way. Very affordable nice people had a good time . Will go back again. We booked for 2 days and stayed for 4 really liked it. We had nothing but a good experience in Port Aransas.

Fishing in Port Aransas.. so much variety is the main reason I come. And I generally do vary well. The carts people rent on the Island are annoying they drive too slow and pull out in front of vehicles causing congestion in the summer and fall during busy seasons

Variety of restaurants, bars and cafes serving fresh, off-the-boat seafood ! Live music venues. Third Coast Theater is a 150-seat, up-close and personal venue featuring Texas Red Dirt Music singer/songwriters from around the state. A can't miss event !
Overpriced food, gas, lodhing considering overall true quality. Nice, but one and done unless a local, or able to shop for groceries, cook in kitchen(ette), stay at a favorite timeshare, etc., and find truly appealing coastal fresh seafood at reasonable prices. Food quality so-so, although many truly dog-friendly eating establishments truly welcoming.

Everywhere we ate or had drinks and coffee was excellent! Our favorite restaurant was MacDaddys. We rented a golf cart to drive along the beautiful, well kept beach. We went during the week when nothing was crowded.

Mickey's Bar and Grill in Aransas Pass has great food that was not expensive. Enjoyed sitting on the canal watching boats pass. Excellent waitress.
In Port A Virginia's on the Beach has excellent lunch specials. Surprisingly, Seafood and Spaghetti Works was great. Excellent clam chowder and salad. For breakfast Island Cafe is reasonable and the wait staff were great! Coach's Island Grill has a $5.00 breakfast, order the hashbrowns.

We love being able to drive on the beach, set up camp right...
We love being able to drive on the beach, set up camp right at the water's edge, and the availability of portable restrooms all down the beach as well as trash receptacles. The beaches are maintained well by the city. There was adequate police presence patroling the beach and handling issues that arose. We love the restaurants and the variety of accomodations. We will continue to visit as often as possible.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved the pool and bbq area and the library was such a great bonus. The staff were all very pleasant. Breakfast was good and had nice options. Loved having coffee, tea and hot chocolate available. The location is a short drive from the ferry and to the beach.
Really friendly and helpful front desk staff ( she said she was only relieving from another hotel). Good basic breakfast, nice pool area, clean comfortable beds.
