of course the view and access to walks and water were superb. The staff were each superb---shout out to both the women at the sauna. Very personable and helpful. The front desk staff also exceptional. Morning breakfast had excellent variety. I will visit again.

The view was amazing! The pool was great for the kids and the larger size was nice so it did not seem so crowded. Room was very spacious and clean. Bed's were decently comfortable.

It's a great little Oregon Coastal town. We ate fish and chips at the Luna in Yachats in a covered area where our dog was welcome as well. We also ate takeout at at a Mexican restaurant in Waldport, six miles north.
YKachats has a cool art gallery caled the Peephole. Joyce is fun to talk with.

It's an older fishing town.
It's an older fishing town. However, the Fireside Motel, along with the other two facilities who have the same owner are well cared for and very inviting. Take an early morning walk when the tide is out and you will be shocked at the sea life you will see. Sunday when I was driving out there was a very nice farmers market. Don't forget to stop in at Bread and Roses--you won't be sorry!!

If you go in the “winter” season prepare for odd hours at restaurants and shops. Make sure you check this before you head out. The towns nearby by also have lots of services. There are sandy beaches and rocky ones, do your research to make sure you go where you want:). Good food, lovely people and a relaxing vacation.

We've stayed only here since we discovered it years ago.The view is spectacular and there are so many different kinds of beaches and beachcombing opportunities. They are dog friendly which is a definite yes for us! The little shops in Yachats, Waldport and Newport have aniques, local artists designs, kites and a vast variety of items. Something for everyone! The food was delicious everywhere we went.

Sweet little town.
Sweet little town. Several places to stop and enjoy the ocean views or walk upon the beach. A coffee shop that sells Vegan pastries that are wonderful. A small grocery store, ice cream shop, as well as a few places to eat. Within 30 minutes of some bigger towns if you want more options for eating and sightseeing.

The home was at a quiet location with great views and beach access was ok. The home had everything needed. No cell phone service at the home at all. WiFi was good. DISH TV was not too good except for Netflix or HULU. The carpet needs updated otherwise the home was clean and the bedrooms were roomy. The actual driveway entrance needs better signage or something it was very hard to see. We really like how quiet the location was and the view was excellent. everything was very good except for the cell service which was annoying.

See reviews by guests who stayed at hotels in Yachats
We had a big enough room to add additional bed (5 of us) with the view of the ocean and direct access to the shore. The location is spectacular as long as you have a room with a view. There is a wheelchair accessible trail which goes either to the village of yachats or to the beach. The location is very relaxing and close to many places worth seeing at Oregon coast but not close to restaurants or shops. My son appreciate the swimming pool. Big parking
The room was good value for cost. Kitchen was well stocked and the bed was comfortable. The pool was lovely. The hotel was close to a cute small park with a great view.
