Appreciated the access to full kitchen. Made meal
Prep much easier.
Liked having fridge and microwave in room. Room was very clean and comfortable. Very convenient to Bethel. They also allowed dogs which was critical to our decision to stay there

Did not really spend much time in Gorham but used it as a base to visit the Mt. Washington area. It’s a small town but does have a Walmart for groceries and other needs. Some good restaurants as well as fast food.

I love going to Gorham.
I love going to Gorham. I grew up here and so it's nice to go home for a visit. Centrally located so everywhere I wanted to go was a short ride. A lot of food options. Go to the Depot for breakfast... a wonderful meal.

A Charming Haven at the Foot of Majestic Mount Washington
A Charming Haven at the Foot of Majestic Mount Washington
My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Glen House, located at the base of the breathtaking Mount Washington, and it was an absolute delight. Our room was comfortable and clean, with a stunning view of the surrounding landscape. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the hotel's restaurant, with options to suit every taste and preference. The location is ideal for those looking to explore the natural beauty of the area, with the Mount Washington Auto Road right next door.
What truly made our stay special was the attention to detail and hospitality from the staff. From hiking recommendations to driving tips for the auto road, they were always willing to help.
Overall, the Glen House is a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty of northern New Hampshire. Highly recommended!
Pros:
Comfortable and clean rooms
Delicious food with varied options
Ideal location for exploring Mount Washington
Friendly and helpful staff
Cons: No bicycles are allowed in the building! The hotel offer access to a small storage room where the bikes can be kept but it has no bike hangers.

We ate at 2 local establishments, 1 of them was a brewery, the beer was very good, but the food was meh.... and the service was not very good. The other place was a barbecue place, the service was not good at all, the food we got was heavy on pepper and little to no seasoning.
The town is nice, very good location if you're into riding quads or side by sides, close to Mount Washington and hiking trails. If you're looking for more to do than that, you'll have a bit of driving ahead of you.

Gorham is conveniently located for hiking the Northern Presidential peaks including Mount Washington . It is a super friendly town and accommodating of ATVs, UTDs, motorcycles and families. The restaurants are casual and the food is good. Try Gorham's House of Pizza, Exile Burrito (in Berlin) and J's Corner Restaurant. I've been using Gorham as my basecamp for hiking for almost 30 years. This year I discovered the the Pine Mountain Trail. Its accessible from the center of town and offers amazing 360 degree views of the surrounding peaks.

Staff was friendly, property well maintained (inside and out), has gas grills, adirondack chairs, cornhole, fire pit, swimming pool along with a hot tub - so you can enjoy the view while just sitting outside playing cornhole, or sitting by the fire pit. One of the cheapest hotels in the area when we went, and were were pleasantly surprised with what they offered
Very good location for exploring the White Mountains. Already the second time we visited Gorham. Very clean, nice staff. Spacious and relatively modern hotel room. Pool, ice machine. Quiet. We'd come back
