There are interesting sites nearby, hunting and fishing, rockhounding, day trip or base to explore the Sawtooths, Twin has a planetarium, some better restaurants. A great BASE jump bridge. Warm weather, and cold inversions will fill the area with cattle feedlot smells, fires can add smoke in the Summer and Fall.

We love visiting Twin Falls and have been going there for pleasure for over 30 years. Now we also go because my father is living in a Memory Care Facility there and as his agent, I am up there periodically conducting business on his behalf. Each time we go to Twin, we find something else we hadn't seen or done before. We love this area of ID!

Twin Falls is a great town with lots of outdoor things to do, I would like to come back and explore more of the river area and trails. We had a good downhome breakfast at Idaho Joe's Cafe before we hit the road.

Twin Falls is a nice little "city" in southern Idaho. I love the bridge that you have to cross to get to it crossing the Snake River Gorge. Pretty impressive. Lots of people driving in for work and on vacation. It's a busy place. The highway heading north to Shoshone and eventually to Sun Valley was as busy as any other two lane highway I've seen. Lots of cars. Plenty of places to eat and plenty of hotels and gas stations.

The Snake River Canyon is an amazing, truly stunning area.
The Snake River Canyon is an amazing, truly stunning area. We took a boat tour & it was great. The people were friendly, lots of places to eat, shop, snack, and tons of things to go explore or do outside. Everywhere we went was well kept, no trash, or abandoned buildings. Felt totally safe, a great place for a family vacay, or a couples getaway.

My friend and I loved the location, near enough to drive to Rexburg for Yellowstone Bear World (a drive through animal park where we bottle bed bear cubs, along with about half a dozen other adults--not just for kids!). Also loved Craters of the Moon, with all kinds of lava tubes and strange plants that looked like snow (plants were about an inch high and very white) on the black lava--better than Big Island, Hawaii, but not as well advertised. Loved the Raptor Center with "Fall Flights" in Boise, along with the old penitentiary there and a fascinating and unusual botanical garden. Also went to Stanley, and between Stanley and Challis, we explored ghost towns of Bonanza, Bayhorse, and one other ghost town with Boot Hills. Nice that Twin Falls is centrally located for southern Idaho, perfect weather and leaves turning in mid-September. Shoshone Falls was barely flowing, and a native of Twin Falls told me it is seldom if ever flowing freely as you see in photos of Shoshone Falls. An ice cave near Twin Falls was fun to tour, too.

We liked the many thoughtful comforts that added to our trip . The benefit of staying here is that for the same price hotels do not get down to the detail of the “ owner mentality, in our 22 units we have taken cues from other ( like minded ) owners this rental was no exception.
We have more than 70 million property reviews, all from real, verified guests.
How does it work?
