Aquarium was wonderful, wasn’t planning on going but weather was crappy so driver suggested it. Great experience. The Victory ship and museum by the port was also excellent. We sure had a good time. The Tampa port is run very well, one of the least stressful experiences we’ve had. Very friendly people. Oh yea the Teco street carts are free and get you around the downtown really easy. If you get to Ybor city go to Columbia restaurant, you won’t regret it!

Loved riverwalk, performance center, Hydepark, U of Tampa, Restaurant complex at north end of riverwalk,city cleanliness., winter weather.
Only concern is former downtown really struggling, hollowed out by transition to river neighborhoods. Downtown is clean and some newer small restaurants trying but struggling and hardly any grocery choices.

Traffic is so bad in Tampa, that we only go there if it is absolutely necessary. The I-4 is always backed up, no matter what time of the day it is. We ended up leaving a lot earlier in the day, than we would have liked to. However, we didn'w want to be caught in that terrible traffic. Going to Tampa, traffic was at a complete standstill, going the opposite way.

A really cool place to visit, from sports to great food and parks, Riverwalk, aquarium, zoo, bush gardens, lots of variety. Food spots to try would be Havana 86 for Cuban, also La Segunda bakery and Cafe was on point with there Cuban sandwich and bakery goods.

The hotel is within two miles of excellent shopping and access to activities. The riverwalk is fairly recent (lived in Tampa 15 years ago and it was not as nice as it is now.)
Both the restaurant in the hotel and places nearby were excellent choices. The hotel also provided water from the restaurant which made it easy to fill up your water bottle. All the appliances in the room looked brand new. And you didn't have to ask for a refrigerator or microwave. They are standard with a coffee maker and TV with more channels than you might ever need.

Only good thing about the stay is the place was neat. Nothing more. Host was as rude as rude can be and assumed that I broke the bathroom tub faucet which was never used. I stayed overnight with about two other people and the host assumed that my family was the reason for damages and tried to up charge me about $300. Highly don't recommend booking. You will regret. Host is money hungry

Location was a 10 minute drive to Downtown Tampa, 15 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes to the factory outlet centre.
Contact prior to arrival by the hosts was excellent with full details of the door code. there were basic food stuffs left by previous guests and Walmart was a short drive away.
There was plenty of channels to watch on TV and the wifi was excellent.
We have a great time at this hotel. The location is good – there are a couple of really nice beaches close by, and downtown is just a quick 7-minute ride. You can even walk around and explore a bit. The breakfast was great, and the room was comfy. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Can recommend this place!
Fantastic location. arrivals across the terminal straight into the hotel with our luggage still on the luggage trolley absolutely perfect if you are arriving in Tampa and have a drive the next day or just want to chill until you travel
the rooms have two queen beds and a coffee maker. It is located next to the riverwalk and close to the downtown centre. There are a lot of waterfront bars and restaurants near to the hotel.
It was near downtown Tampa (which isn’t a particularly interesting town, but anyway), the TV worked smoothly, the host seemed pleasant from the e-messages, the lounge was large
