I liked the 'differences' that I experienced - the 'hugeness' of the buildings, the 'art' all over the city and the beautiful nature. Unfortunately, the weather was not good this year!

Beautiful weather is the main thing.
Beautiful weather is the main thing. There is a free monorail downtown. Parking is very expensive unless you use one of the apps to reserve a place. We ate out a Dolphin Mall where it is free to park and there are a number of restaurants, as well as shops. Renting sun beds and an umbrella is about $50 a day, but worth it.

This is my third time in the city and I never stay more than 4 days and I think it's enough. It's a big city like many others and there are lots of things to do as a couple or family, like going out to dinner, museums, the beach, but the possibilities are easily exhausted. I like being there because I have family, but as a tourist, I think it's limited, in 2 days you can get to know the city well.
It's a city that requires a car, as there's little public transportation.
I recommend visiting South Beach, walking along Ocean Drive, Lincoln Road, Wynwood, Brickell, Miami Design District and going to the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science (we loved it!!!).

The Hamilton downtown was a very nice motel with near by restaurants that were reasonable and in walking distance.
The Hilton by the airport was overpriced, but it did have a shuttle to the airport.
You have to weigh your pros & cons of what you really want.
Getting around Miami was not easy but the taxi service was better than Uber, after waiting 35 min for a scheduled Uber at the airport the driver cancelled. Took a taxi and it was the same price. No waiting ! If you have ADA that matters with luggage.
Airport was fabulous & port was fabulous for the ADA a commendations.

The weather was perfect as were the beaches .
The weather was perfect as were the beaches . Water was quite choppy some days although plenty of lifeguards to look after everyone .
Such a diverse place with rich history .lovely friendly people .
Wynwood area has amazing artwork on the buildings and interesting galleries.
Restaurants were amazing with a great choice of cuisines .
South beach has lovely buildings .
Bay Area was nice to wander .
It can be very expensive especially in certain areas like the bay. Food and drinks can be overpriced then taxes added , ( tax varies area to area ) , then service charge , then tip .
A very busy and noisy place with lots of tourists. Everyone seemed to have a wee dog ( dog poo was an issue on pavements ).
We didn’t hire a car as the driving looked insane with lots of car horns blaring for what appears to be no reason , plus parking was extortionate.Easy to get around , there are free trams , inexpensive buses , uber and Lyft were excellent value and readily available .
Palm trees everywhere it does look beautiful.
We had a fabulous time , lots to do , see and experience .

Excellent location, extremely accessible to airport, downtown miami and miami beach with public transport within walking distance. The bed was probably the most comfortable we've ever slept in. The views from the balcony are beautiful and having a full kitchen to hand was extremely convenient. The host was readily available for any queries too. 10/10 will rebook on next trip to Miami.
Location of the hotel (near bus stop 36 to go to Miami beach), room, equipment, breakfast (fantastic breakfast), everything was good actually
I recommend this hotel, the price is really very very good value for money
Location is very convenient - from the hotel you can get anywhere easily, even Miami Beach. Beds are super comfortable and having a fridge and a microwave in the room was nice.
