My daughter and I recently stayed at the Evergreen Lodge while she payed in a hockey tournament in Vail. Our visit from start to finish was excellent. Check in was a breeze and they were able to accommodate an early check in for us. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We opted for breakfast off-site, but the complementary coffee was delicious and a nice touch. The afternoon cookies were a fan favorite- yum! The staff was very friendly, the location of the hotel was excellent and the restaurant was able to serve the entire team and parents effortlessly, with top notch, quick and professional service. We would stay here again and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

There was a lot of snow for this time of the year. The lift lines were literally nonexistent.

We had beautiful weather, a little warmer than usual but beautiful! We walked to most places from our hotel, and hopped on a couple of the local busses that travels around when we needed a little break. The passengers pleasant and kind to each other, gentlemen giving up their seats to elderly ladies, someone else helped another passenger with their stroller. Dinner at Vendettas was lovely that first night, and the staff (hostess, server and support server) very friendly, and welcoming. Dinner at Lancelot's the second night is always a must for us; we had our wedding rehearsal dinner there 30 years ago and so when we're in Vail, we always have dinner there. Excellent service, seating outside by the creek, and amazing food, of course.

It is all about the skiing for most people, and the Vail ski resort is amazing. Hard to beat as a ski destination. It is generally a very expensive place to stay but there are many options available to you.
As a town, feels a bit disjointed with the two main locations of Vail Village and Lionshead being separated. If you come without your own transport, get used to having to take buses/shuttles most places. Having said that, the transport system is incredibly good once you work it all out. Lots of places to eat, moreso in Vail Village.
As it is also under Epic Pass, easy to ski Beaver Creek during your stay in Vail, with a great (free) bus service mostly every 20 mins from Vail to BC and only takes about half an hour. It is a shame that the same is not available for Breckenridge, another Epic resort.

Amazing mountain!
Amazing mountain! You can’t beat the vastness of this mountain. There is something for everyone and every level of skiing.
The village is awesome with plenty of restaurants and shops. I would avoid this place on busy holiday weekends.

We visited during the autumn when the aspen colors were at their peak. Incredible views everywhere. Nice warm sun and cool nights. Village was pretty quiet as it was "between seasons" which made for a very relaxing visit, with no waits for restaurants, etc. Very easy to walk around the public areas.

Vail is a beautiful and extreemly well mantained town.
Vail is a beautiful and extreemly well mantained town. It is a credit to the locals who seem to take great pride in their town. It has the benefit natural beauty with its surrounding mountains. The free electric bus service that teavels around the town is a great way to see the sights including the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens which are well worth a visit .

The facilities, including the beautiful spa, outdoor hot tubs, fruit-infused water around the hotel and fresh cookies delivered every night with turn-down service were exceptional. The in-room fireplace and friendly concierge were a cherry on top of this whole unforgettable experience. The hotel is also perfectly located in the beautiful Vail village.
Apartment was fantastic - clean, comfortable, warm and had everything we needed. Very well equipped kitchen and BBQ on the deck. We came for 5 nights but decided to stay for 10! Great location and only 20 minutes on the free shuttle bus to Vail and the ski area. Highly recommend.
The three bedroom apartment was spacious and clean, it had all the necessary amenities. Vail downtown is approximately 5 minutes by car from the premises.
We will definitely stay here again once we visit Vail again.
