Loved the bench outside our room. We sat in the sun after we checked in and ate a snack. Very enjoyable. Loved the size of the room, king bed room, and the cleanliness.

A beautiful town in the south western Rockies.

A beautiful town in the south western Rockies. I’m so there and ice climbers paradise and just quaint. Great restaurants and 2 local breweries with hot springs, hiking an and a lot more. The pizza at Gold Belt was so good as were the 2 Tracy’s who served us. Grumpy Brewer was also very welcoming despite its name. Plenty of shopping if you like it and walks everywhere.

Beautiful town, if you visit you have to hike the Perimeter Trail. It is a bit challenging and, if you are afraid of heights I would not recommend going because you will be on the side of the cliff, literally. Do NOT go on this hike with regular shoes. Also, you have to go see the Box Canon Waterfall. It's amazing and about a 15-minute really easy hike from the parking lot. It does cost money to go and see, it's like $10. If you don't want to pay, you will have to find an access point to the Perimeter Trail and hike your way around to it.

Did not know that there was so much one could do while being there. I should have planned at least a day or two more there. Make sure you check out the short hikes, and definitely make a day for the hot springs.

The rooms were really clean, the staff was nice and breakfast had something for everyone. They had drinks and alcohol and microwavable foods available for those that retired early and wanted a quick fix which I thought was nice. It was just a 10 min walk to town. I slept very well both nights. The fan/air conditioning was pretty loud, there were no hangers for coats, and hot spring tubs were a first come first serve, but my stay was a relaxing one and I'd stay again.

Love the original mining town feel.

Love the original mining town feel. It is a quaint town with old Colorado warmth and hospitality. The surroundings are spectacular! We hiked Box Canyon, took a jeep excursion to several passes and viewed America’s Little Switzerland views. After an active long day filled with adventure, we went to Ouray Hot Springs Pool. We spent 3 days and 3 nights. Perfect amount of time.

Ouray is an in an excellent location to either drive to or fly to, with a couple of airport options 2 hours or less away. Ouray offers many activities (hiking, hot springs, jeep rentals, etc.,) within the immediate area, and very short drives to many other beautiful locations. ALSO, you really cannot beat the scenery that you can see from basically anywhere within the Ouray city limits. BREATHTAKING!

A lovely historic hotel in the heart of Ouray. Easy walk to restaurants, shopping, bars. We had it as an overnight stay only but it really fit the bill. Room was quaint and great value for money. Staff were amazing, great little restaurant / bar next door. Breakfast was ample, not a full buffet breakfast but certainly enough and served in a small dining room, making it cozy.

We loved everything about our stay. The hot springs felt amazing. Our room was clean and spacious. We were only a couple of blocks from downtown, so we could walk there. And, finally, the hot breakfast in the morning was awesome.
