The Diamond Hideaway, hotel in Murfreesboro

The Diamond Hideaway is a holiday home with a barbecue, located in Murfreesboro, Arkansas. It is 3 mi away from Crater of Diamonds State Park.

The location was perfect. Close to the mine, downtown, and fishing spots on the river and lake. The staff shared valuable knowledge of the mine and other area attractions. The cabin had good air conditioning and some fans to keep the air moving. Cabin included all the diamond finding gear, like buckets, gloves, screens, a wagon, and more. The host gave me her number, so I could text if I needed anything. This would be the perfect set up for a family or group of 6 to spend a few days at the mine. It was close enough to go twice in a day and bring back all the sifted gravel for further investigation. Practically guaranteed a diamond if you follow the detailed instructions from the shop owner at Diamond Classics. Good luck!

Delightful Retreat with Fireplace and Large Yard!, hotel in Murfreesboro

Delightful Retreat with Fireplace and Large Yard! is located in Delight, just 29 miles from Henderson State University and 29 miles from Ouachita Baptist University.

Very spacious and clean older home - so much charm without being overwhelmed by cluttered antiques. Side porch was nice for sitting with coffee and chatting, listening to the birds. Has a washer and dryer, and many needed items while on vacation. Walking distance to a cute little grocery store and downtown. Plenty of towels and cleaning supplies. Snacks and goodies provided in the kitchen. Good water pressure even upstairs! Didn’t get to use the pergola, but it looked adorable with the lights.

Liked · This beautiful little gem was a great find.

Liked · This beautiful little gem was a great find. It was super close to the diamond mine crater which was great and exactly what we were looking for. Communication from the owner/property was timely and thorough. We really appreciated her understanding about our late arrival. The unique room was a bonus. We had a great time appreciating all the unique features of the room. The amount of detail and thoughtful creativity in so many of the unique pieces of the room were outstanding. We appreciated have the ability to close the door to the main bedroom allowing the use of the primary living area without disturbing those in the bedroom area. The towels and bed linens were the best that we have experienced in any property stateside. We found the bedroom mattress to be comfortable and of a good size for the two of us as a couple to share. The property was quite clean and a more than adequate supply were provided of necessities of towels, toilet paper and well as toiletries. The soap was surprisingly great smelling and non-drying. The owner provided plenty of coffee K cups, creamer and sugar which was a delightful bonus. Other added features available to guests are a small fire-pit with seating, which would be great to enjoy during the cooler months, and a outdoor barbecue, both available on a 1st come, 1 served basis. Also, we appreciated having parking available right outside our door which was awesome. We enjoyed our morning sipping coffee outside our room on the quaint custom bench right outside our door which was a super relaxing start to our day. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone traveling in the area and in need of an outstanding place to stay.

I wanted time in nature and as that did not work out as it was difficult to find a decent place to stay so we wasted the day getting there. We did however enjoy Sushi at Z's on the square so it was'nt all for not. If you happen to visit Crater of Diamonds ( a great place to check out) stop by Z's and get some delicious sushi, they have other items too but I love sushi.

It is a small town most people go there for the diamond mine which I enjoyed I have been there four times but be on the lookout and be careful where you stay I have stayed in the cabins the old west Diamond cabins and they are wonderful I’ve stayed there three times this time I thought I would get a house and was very disappointed it was called the robins nest don’t stay there it is a rip off You can book online for one price including all fees taxes and everything and then when you get there the owner will hound you for more money until you give it to her or either leave and have no place to stay Between booking.com and the owner of Robin nest it is a scam

Easy self check-in. Spacious room with fun decor. Excellent bed with soft, warm linens. Huge relaxing bathtub, great for after a day of digging at the diamond mine. Close to everything yet on the outskirts of town so it felt very quiet.
