Quiet family run place a few minutes out of town itself. Nice gardens and pool, lots of place to chill, has a fan and tv in room. Included breakfast was also nice. Is actually huge and has options for all sorts of cabins and dorms tucked in around the property but felt smaller.

Casa Independente is located a very short drive outside of Macas, in a beautiful, green countryside area. The 3 bedroom house is very secure, surrounded by a lovely yard, and there is a small village with stores nearby. The host, Isabella, is friendly, kind, helpful, and a great guide for a day trip to a local Shuar community. Isabella quickly became a friend, rather than a host.

this apartment is in a great location. it is within walking distance to many restaurants and stores. The closest grocery store is only 5-6 minutes walk. There is a drop off laundromat about 5 minutes from the apartment with same day service at a very cheap price, 10 days worth of clothes only cost $5.
The hosts of the property are very nice and extremely accommodating. They allowed me to stay at the apartment until my bus departed, about 8pm. When I had a question they were quick to respond and happy to help.
The apartment is very clean and has all of the basics for your stay. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
