We loved the graciousness of the hosts. They gave us time by answering questions and making sure we felt at home. The kitchen was more than adequate so that we could make some of our own meals.

there are lots of great hiking trails in the area, all well marked and extremely scenic. the Bike trail is also good. Netulme itself doesnt have much in town but you come here for the outdoor activities. If you have a good cabin (which we did) and are well supplied you dont need restaurants and bars. for me this was a great place to chill and recharge.

Neltume has basically no infrastructure for tourists.
Neltume has basically no infrastructure for tourists. Who is running huilo reserve? They put zero into the town. Don't pay $300 a night for the tiny hotel rooms. We got a cabana it was comfy for family. We visited hotels and portals of huilo. We ate at Trelew which was a good meal, Belgian guy looked after us. No other restaurants around really except cafe at salto huilo. Puerto fuy freezing place with poor hungry dogs. Our kids played at Neltume playground with local kids, enjoyable. There's a fairly well stocked little shop for food on main street.
To explain huilo it has four portals or sites with hikes, or museum or waterfall. Loved the volcanic cave hike over waterfall then behind. For zipline book it at Northofagus hotel else you won't find it.
The hotel and the staff were amazing! Perfectly located very near to the Huilo Huilo. The rooms were very comfortable and well maintained. The staff (Marcelo) was extraordinary and took well care of us. We also had a fantastic dinner at the property’s restaurant. Highly recommended!
Neltume is a dusty little town that is the gateway to Huilo Huilo hiking trails. The hotel fronts the Estero Quadbrada Onda river. There are some very nice swimming holes a sort walk toward town.
Fabulous Hotel in an amazing location. The room was very comfortable and warm. Breakfast was very good as was evening meal. Staff extremely helpful too
