The lady was very nice, the room wasn’t overly fancy but that’s not what we were looking for. The main thing was it was clean and comfortable. There was extra q-tips, cotton pads and a blow dryer in the bathroom which is always a nice touch. The host was a 10/10 host, she gave us directions to the nearby store, recommendations for what to do and not to do the next day and gave us some homemade grappa. She also greeted us on arrival and came down to chat with us when we were leaving. There was a little balcony and some tables/chairs that we sat outside and played dice with a couple drinks from a local convenient store.

She took the time to explain where supermarkets and entrance to Krka NP was and recommended I visit the town of Skradin.

Quiet, rustic location. Excellent, gracious host who gave us snacks and drink. Location very close to the entrance of Krka if you are driving. Town is 10 min away (that is where folks take the boat into the park - we drove). Hot water heater worked well. Host gave us excellent instructions for nearby park. We stayed 1 night. Very easy to find

After staying in various Airbnb’s, VRBO‘s and other rented apartments all over the USA and now scattered across the UK and Croatia, I think this is literally one of the best in which we’ve ever stayed. It was pristinely clean, beautifully decorated, spacious with a gracious and helpful host. We enjoyed a desperately needed washing machine as well as the easy convenience to our destination Krka.

Hotel Vrata Krka is perfectly located to explore the national park. Walk two minutes to the park reception office, buy tickets, get on the shuttle bus, and arrive at the entrance to the circular walk through the ponds and waterfalls of Krka. Plus several fast food places are next door. Perfect location !
What a little hidden gem! The room was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed including an air con which was very welcome. The hostess made us feel really welcome with drinks and fruit from her garden. The location is perfect as well, 5 minutes drive from Krka national park and 10 minutes drive from the lovely town of Sibenik. The village itself has got 2 food stores, a caffe and a restaurant. We absolutely loved our short stay and will definitely be back.
Location is excellent - 2 min drive to Krka Lozovac entrance and 10min drive to Skradin entrance. The view was absolutely stunning- we made dinner and are it outside, there was tables and benches to sit and enjoy view. The host is so friendly and helpful. I wanted to go store and buy vine but she said that they are making vine (small amounts for their family not industry) and she offered me to buy a bottle from them. It was SO good!
Nice apartment with 2 rooms on the ground floor, athe owner is the neighbour. Very clean and the apartment is well equipped. The heating was on before arriving, the beds comfortable, furniture is nice. The owner is very helpful, advising local attractions. It is just 5 minutes from the Krka National Park entrance. Local welcome drink is a specialty and was great!
