I recently had the pleasure of staying in Startsevo for the K3 Ultra race in Zlatograd, and I can't recommend this place enough. Our host was incredibly kind, and his mother's warm welcome each time we entered the house made our stay truly special. The feeling was that we were coming home. Despite being a 20-minute drive from Zlatograd, the convenience of this location was well worth it. The recently renovated rooms were spotlessly clean, and spacious, and provided a comfortable space for coffee and relaxation.
In summary, our stay in Startsevo was exceptional, thanks to our wonderful host and his welcoming mother. Once again, I am convinced that people from the Rhodope mountain are truly exceptional. If you plan to participate in the K3 Ultra race or Zlatograd, don't hesitate to book here. You'll experience genuine hospitality and a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

Very helpful host, we booked 20 minutes before arrival and it was ok. Very clean, brand new apartment, good price for a large apartment, suited for a family. A good stop over on our way to Greece.

The house is brand new and tastefully furnished, very comfortable with plenty of space for a family. It is decorated with traditional items and creates very special atmosphere. The views are absolutely breathtaking, like a postcard. Many hiking paths behind the house take you to the top of the peaks. Convenient to take a day trip to Zlatograd, Smolyan, Greece, etc. Madan is close by where you have all the stores and restaurants. And last but not least, the host Rosa was great, very helpful and made sure all of our need were met, I would definitely go back.

Amazing place: the Koprivštica (Копривщица) of the Rhodopi is a great source of historical culture and of special food ( as the hot bread you can buy on the road to the Ethnographic Park) and drinks ( the traditional old style coffee) . The Delyu voyvoda museum is extremely interesting and worth a visit.

We were 3 persons and got 3 single rooms. My room had an odd smell probably because of some construction works that were taking place underneath. All rooms were clean and comfortable. Very close to the historic part of Zlatograd. The receptionist was very polite. The breakfast tasty.
Kind and responsive host. Clean and spacious room with air conditioning and terrace. Comfortable beds. Nice bathroom with toiletries. There is a fully equipped kitchen. Free street parking in front of the hotel. 5 minutes walk from the old town.
A nice little hotel. Basic facilities but that's what the cost reflects. Didn't make it for breakfast butt he dinner was very good and reasonably priced.
