At least on the beaches we visited, none of them had sand on the shore, and there were large rocks in the water. Additionally, on some beaches, the sea had sea urchins. It's nice for taking a dip, but not ideal for swimming in the sea.

The city is very welcoming. There are tourists, but not too many. There is a long promenade near the sea, that is suitable for walking. People are very smiling and positive. There are plenty of places to eat, but it's not party-oriented, making it great for a relaxed vacation

Bit of a bizzare place, I can see it was great at its peak (years ago) but it's not quite as good now. Lots of empty buildings etc. The beach where the hot springs are is busy and dirty; not looked after at all. The people in the NTO hot baths are jobs-worths and overly particular with unnecessary rules. It could all just be a bit better and they could make a lot more of the hot springs.
However, there are some gems of places- lovely bars and restaurants with great people running them.
There should be a fast people ferry from the mainland a few times a day to boost tourism and income. Someone should invest in the place.
It's quite a drive to get there and I wouldn't recommend the place or the drive to people (however if you are there, check out Limne just down the coast before you leave the area, it's entirely different!!)

A buzzing town with popular hot springs, nice restaurants and friendly people. Very good value for money in every aspect, it is an excellent choice for a relaxing holiday, a wellness break, as well as for exploring the beautiful region of Northern Evia.

The hot springs are amazing!
The hot springs are amazing! I found it lovely that I could bath in the hot water even in march, in 10 degrees, and it didn't feel cold at all. I would go there before or after the high season, because it is not crowded at all.

The location of this hotel is very nice at not crowded street. Free parking is available behind the hotel complex.
Hotel is located in middle of nature, so you can breath fresh and clean air.
Room was clean, equipped with a smart television connected to internet, so you can connect to your Netflix or YouTube account to watch your favorite movies or TV channels during your stay.
The owner was helpful with all my needs and allows me to stay a bit longer than usual check out time.
Out of the 10 nights booked, we spent only 2 in the studio because the air conditioner was faulty. The owner really tried to help us and in the end she accommodated us in another hotel. She really put in a lot of effort and understanding.If I assume that the problems with the air conditioner are solved, the accommodation is highly recommended. However, it is an unexpected problem that can happen in any hotel.
The staff was so accommodating and kind, they made the experience just so so comfortable and cozy. The hotel is well maintained, the beds are comfortable, everything was clean and the sea view is completely worth it. The breakfast was generous and traditional.
Excellent location very friendly family hotel loved it and will stay again. The town was small town with few restaurants and shops which was lovely and near to the spa facilities at Edipsos. Good breakfast every day different
