I cannot enjoy by the water in May despite those 9 pools, none of them heated. Also dinner to late for our habits (after 7pm), we didn’t have the opportunity to book only breakfast.

It is great place, people are firendly, food is wonderfull (the best after Turkish ;-)) beaches are beatifull. The only thing is VERY crawded. If you go to beaches late (afternoon) you can not find a sun bed even. Some beaches are very tight designed. Sun bed prices differs from free (as you spend anything) up to 60 euro for set.
The prices are slightly more expensive than Thssos.

If you don't like a crowded area, than I would definitely not recommend Kallithea and Kassandra in general. The entertainment available in the city center's are very old school and not really fun.
However we did enjoy one village in particular and that was Afitos. It was a nice looking center, amazing view points and very good taverns.

The resort has many closed stores and taverns and in some places it looks like after the war.
Cleanliness is bad and difficult to find a parking spot .
It has many other shops and taverns and also has a Masoutis store that is still open.

The beach is beautiful and very comfortable.
The beach is beautiful and very comfortable. It is great for children and the beach bars make it very comfortable for adults as well (who like to that kind of thing)
The down side is that the beach is downhill from the village - the uphill climb at the end of the day is a challenge

It has everything you need - good bars and restaurants, supermarkets and a pharmacy. It just not a typical 'movie set' Greek Village but it was very close to our hotel which was handy and great for our teenagers.

I liked everything about this apartment. It is located in a quiet area, close to the beach (10 minute walk), close to the city center. For a family is perfect and it offers everything you need. We called it our home for one week. Gisiona is very nice. She allowed us to check-in earlier and she checked on us via Whats App to see if everything is ok and if we needed anything. We kept in touch throughout our stay in Kalithea. I recommend it. We had a very pleasent stay in Greece and in this beautiful area called Kalithea.
The hotel is beautiful. Villas are so comfy with their modern design, there are two big shared pools with sunbeds which are great if you dont feel like going to the beach ☺️ Wifi is working perfectly and parking place is on the street in front of the hotel.
