Maria is amazing! She made us feel so welcome the entire time, and her breakfasts were such an added bonus during our stay. The location is also perfect-- a 5 minute walk to the heart of appolonia, 10 minute walk to Artemonas, and then 15-20 minute drive to anywhere else you'd want to go. Access to the big patio is such a big benefit too! And the price is very good as well!

We loved our stay here! The hosts were so welcoming and lovely and the location is quiet and beautiful and near a very nice restaurant. The walk to Apollonia/ the nearest bus stop is about 10 or so minutes with a bit of incline but not too bad at all, and from there you can travel by bus to most of the beaches or could walk/bus to Artemonas. In the other direction, Kastro was about a 15 minute walk with some hills but absolutely worth it. We loved our stay and would definitely come back!

Apollonia is a lovely town, and a really great base for exploring the island. The views are beautiful, there are great places to eat and drink, as well as shops selling local goods. It’s very close to a village which is full of ceramics workshops, and we loved visiting and meeting some of the potters and buying directly from them. The town is a short drive from pretty much every other place on the island. It has lovely views and is quiet and safe. It was my first time visiting and I’ll definitely return in future, Sifnos is my favourite Greek island that I’ve visited so far.

Having visited many Greek islands and the Cyclades in particular I can say that Sifnos is a delight!! The village of Apollonia is typical picture perfect with traditionally winding streets with blue and white buildings and a church at every turn. Lots of boutiques with local wares and lots of amazing restaurants. There are good bus routes from Apollonia to other villages on the island and at just €2 a journey why hire a car. Perfect for the real Greek experience.

The hotel is well located being only a short walk from the port and the beach. The bus stop to the village is across the road.
We had a nice room with a large terrace overlooking the bay. However, the shower was small and we did not have hot water.
The welcome was good but breakfast did not vary. Not everyone wants toasted cheese sandwiches and hard boiled eggs for breakfast every time. A choice of omelette or other eggs would have been appreciated.

Good sized town with plenty of facilities. Steno has plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Lots of good more traditional places too along the road. Recommend To Stauri (bakery) Kamariano (gyros) and I Oraia Sifnos (traditional taverna with great terrace at rear).
The Alfa on road to Kastro is best supermarket.

The apartment was extremely comfortable with excellent facilities. The shower was amazing and the kitchen was very well equipped. The entire property was lovely and elegantly decorated. The hosts met us at the port which made our arrival very easy and stress free. They were also very attentive to our needs during the stay. The location was just outside Apollonia (about 5 mins walk) and we had a wonderful view of the town from our verandah. We enjoyed staying in Apollonia as it was very easy to get around the island by bus.
The location is excellent, right in front of the main bus stop in Apollonia, which was so handy for us as we relied on buses for travelling around the island. Yes it is on the main road but this was never an issue for us.
We loved having breakfast in the breakfast room overlooking the island. Our room was just what we needed, and had a lovely balcony.
The owner is excellent, incredibly friendly and helpful - we couldn't have asked for more!
Perfect location, walking distance from the center (Apollonia) and in a strategic position to visit the whole island. Maria was very nice and friendly. The room is very well equipped, quiet and nicely decorated. We had a great time and we definitely recommend it!
