The Drisco Hotel Tel Aviv - Relais & Châteaux, hotel in Tel Aviv

The Drisco is a heritage-landmark, 5 star superior hotel, established in 1866, and a proud member of Relais & Châteaux.

From the first minute, everyone was very attentive and at the same time absolutely unobtrusive. Starting from the doorman at the entrance and numerous pleasant bonuses: wine and sweets in the room, cocktails that were brought to us as a gift, by individual order. And many other pleasant things.

Tel-Aviv quite simply a dingy, dirty city -but why?

Tel-Aviv quite simply a dingy, dirty city -but why? So this is entirely easy to amend; it’s repairable - there’s simply the matter of municipal taking of responsibilities seriously. Please—More flowers; more grass and green spaces and trees… Wonderfully the roads/ pavement are in good shape- and yet it is needed/ even necessary to steam pressure wash so many surfaces- horizontal and vertical— again more trees; green walls of plants would be a very easy addition- it’s an incredible address on the Mediterranean and open opportunity to make this jewel really exceptional, abounds… Love the Israeli people!!!

    I am an Israeli citizen.

I am an Israeli citizen. My opinion on Tel Aviv is always biased. We love some things like the cultural attractions. We dislike other things like noise and dirt. But, I suppose this is true for any large city in the westerns world. The beach is always an attraction.

An amazing city, great and very clean beaches, an amazing seaside promenade, Yarkon Park is full of sports activities, cafes and restaurants everywhere and they are open all day and night, interesting museums, lots of entertainment and lively nightlife, I recommend visiting Old Jaffa, the markets (the Carmel Market in Tel Avivat and the flea market in Jaffa) and walk in the White City

Tel Aviv is an interesting city in the diversity of its habitat and its population. There is a good choice of museums there. The beaches are superb. It is easy to get around by bus or metro. We made the round trip to Jerusalem easily and quickly by train.

I can't answer because I live in Israel and went because I had an early appointment and didn't want to have to get up so early as to be sure to arrive on time. I wanted to be relaxed. I did find the average person to be pleasant, friendly and helpful which was nice for a big city. The beach is fabulous and accessible. If you want to combine culture and a resort feeling, TA is a good place. You won't find Ancient Israel here but it had what every major city anywhere does. It's one of the most expensive cities in the World, so be prepared.

Nice hotel close to the beach in northern central Tel Aviv. The room was nice with comfortable beds and bathroom. It's just about 3 min walking distance to the beach and you can borrow some extra towels and a bag for the beach for free. There are cafes, restaurants and supermarkets close by. For breakfast they provide good coffee, cake and some fruit. We easily walked from there to all places we wanted to visit in Tel Aviv. Even to Jaffa it's about 40 min walking along the beach.

Very nice hotel, it has great location (is very close to the beach & promenade, close to Rothschild boulevard and 30 minutes of walking to old city - the wonderful old Jaffa), excellent breakfast. Also, there is 24 hours available coffee in the hotel lobby, as well as free bikes. The terrace from the 11th floor offers a great view of the city. The staff was very friendly and helped us a lot with very useful information. Very good choice for Tel Aviv, highly recommend it!

This hotel is the best I have stayed at in Tel Aviv! The rooms are clean and modern with a lot of light. The suburb is amazing with so many excellent cafes and bars nearby. The beach is a little further away but it is an easy ride on a lime scooter, plus if you have a car you can park on the street outside of the hotel which you cant do at the beach hotels! The staff are also extremely nice and so helpful if you need anything, I would definitely recommend!

The staff was exceptional! The location is great, offering an amazing view of the beach. It is a capsule hotel, so you have to bear that in mind—you won't have the same comfort as a traditional hotel. However, considering the value for money, it is one of the best solutions if you plan to visit Tel Aviv.
