Amirim is a beautiful place, peaceful and quiet. This place is a gem. We ordered the suite with the infinity pool and the private spa. Nothing was missing! We enjoyed making tea with the herbs outdoor. The manager Michael was polite and made sure that our stay will be sweet and wonderful. He left us mini presents in the suite. Thank you we will return for sure.
Amirim is fine as a village. Helen's Zimmer is in a poor state of repair and maintenance. I recommennd that it is not used until improvement to a reasonable standard. We could not use WiFi because we did not have the code. Various things were broken and minimalist. User beware! We have requested a part refund but have not received a useful answer - in fact no answer at all. I have been unable to contact booking.com. This has become the beginning of an ongoing problem which I hope Helen's Zimmer and/or booking.com will resolve.

Very quite, green, and pictruresque place.
Very quite, green, and pictruresque place. Nice vegetarian restaurant nearby. Cool 4 miles hiking trail around the village and plenty of paved streets to walk under the trees in the village itself.
A lot of hiking opportunities nearby.

We had a wonderful visit to Amirim.
We had a wonderful visit to Amirim. I think the area is best explored if you have a car. We used our cabin (or "tzimmer") as a home based and we went off hiking and visiting towns and wineries nearby. You could also just stay put and enjoy the village. There are several cafes open during the day but not too many places to eat at night. Our accomodation provided a hammock and lovely outdoor sitting area and we were sorry we didn't take an extra day just to chill out and relax.

We liked the position on top of the hills between the Kinneret and the Mediterranean Sea. Breakfast was terrific and restaurants around (Kfar Rama and Gush Halav) recommended by Lawrence (the man in charge of paying the bills in this joint) were delicious. Above all I enjoyed discussing food and health with that man called Lawrence of the Galilee…

A quiet and tranquil village in the middle of a forrest, with extraordinary views.
Even if you're an avid carnivore like myself, staying in a vegetarian/vegan village is an amazing experience. There are no farm animals in the whole village, and while seeing a horse or a few cows is nice on vacation, finding out that your luxury lodging is right next to a huge chicken coup is less fun.
The houses in Amirim are more spaced out than most other places in Israel, and there's even a full forrest hiking train INSIDE the village.
Amirim's location is perfect for day trips around northern Israel

The only reason I wrote that our stay of 4 nights was too long is that the effective benefit of in-country vacation twice for two-three nights may be greater than our one stay of 4 nights!
The location was great, accomodations wonderful, the meals were varied and sumptuous. Most importantly, ALL of the staff were gracious and accommodating.
Under the cloud of covid, we had stayed at home a great deal in the two years prior to our vacation.
Even before factoring activities in the area: outings, hikes, historical sites, cultural events, swimming pools, sunsets, etc. Our decision became a 'no-brainer' after we factored in the benefits: of NOT getting on an airplane, of NOT waiting to board in communal waiting areas, of NOT spending vacation time experiencing testing facilities in a foreign land, or even having to figure out how and when and where to take care of these requirements for international travel.
We took the funds we may have otherwise spent on a 5 day jaunt out of the country, and had an incredibly luxurious 5 day stay at Amirim.
In hindsight, I may have spread out the visit to two stays of two nights each.

This is our third time in this amazing place!
It has an in room Jacuzzi, a heated pool, and a real fireplace.
It just feels like the owners tried thinking of everything - it is very comfortable, and they took care of the small things: providing wine, coffee, chocolates, fruits and cookies.
While the place is by no means central in Israel and a car is a must, it is well placed to see Israel's northern area and the Golan heights.
Highly recommended!
The location itself is excellent, a great mixture of solitude yet still being within a small Israeli Village, on the side of a beautiful mountain, with an incredible landscape view sprawling in front of you, there a very pleasant walks to be had throughout the area, and there are a small grocery shop, and a lovely cafe, just 3-5 minutes away on foot.
The Yurt itself is lovely, and an excellent place for self reflective journeys.
Switzerland in Amirim is a wonderful vacation spot. The view from our room was great, the utilities inside the room were all included, the jacuzzi worked great and was clean. All in all, the price is a bit expensive, but for one or two nights I believe it is a great investment for cupules looking for a romantic vacation.
Excellent place to stay in Northern Israel – one of the nicest zimmers we've been to. The place is clean, comfortable, and the view of the Sea of Galilee from the balcony is amazing. Highly recommended!
