Doesn’t look like much from the road. Once your on property it opens up to a beautiful manicured garden. The buildings are high quality with hand crafted hard wood furniture and fixings. Beautiful view over the jungle looking at the ocean. Great location for sports. Everything is close by.

The mattress was terrible, although the hotel changed it, but it wasn't that great anyway. I had terrible neck pain after that. the menu was limited, and one day we ordered some ribs, which were awful; we almost had to beg for us to cancel that order since we tried two ribs out of six, just to make sure I wasn't crazy. But then, my family agreed eating was dangerous. It's an average hotel. Nothing special for the money we paid. There is a beach, but you can't get in because it is too wild, so not good for kids.
This is a much better alternative to El Rio. We paid the same price for a double room with an en suite for 2 people as one night in a 23 bed dorm for one person in El Rio. Feels like a hotel/ guesthouse and is super clean and comfy. Can either get a Moto taxi to el Rio in 4 mins or it's about a 25 min walk. We still spend the days and evening in El Rio for free and came back here to sleep. Totally recommend and don't worry, Moto taxis are still available all night. Room had Aircon and a TV
Very nice venue with an amazing private beach with beach beds, pool, bars. Opportunity to learn how to surf, get massage or many different activities the hotel provides. We stayed in a private room which was very spacious. Feels like a 5 star resort.
