We had two rooms in the hotel opera for a couple days.
The postive was the freindly staff and the good location.
Free parking. The breakfast was fine but could be improved.

Bristol Residence is housed in a beautiful, 19th-century building, located in the center of Bytom, close to the Market Square and Kościuszko Square. The rooms offer smart TVs and free Wi-Fi.
We stayed here about 20 years ago and were very happy and so we were very pleased to see that it was still in existence. Our experience was different this time in that it was much less like a hotel and much more like a hostel. This didn't worry us too much because we travelling a lot and only needed a comfortable bed and shower to return to. The accommodation provided us with both. It was clean and convenient. It suited our needs and was very good value for money.
Lovely little hotel, rooms are furnished with elegant real furniture providing plenty of storage. Very nice and helpful staff, quick and good housekeeping. There's a lounge with coffee machine and sweets available at any time, hotel restaurant is very good and with reasonable prices.
There's a bus stop to Katowice and to the airport in front of the hotel and two big supermarkets right next to the hotel.

A very good 4 star hotel, even better than many 5 star hotels I have visited. A very nice garden in the courtyard of the hotel. Excellent breakfast. The reception staff worked very professionally, we spoke in english with all the staff. We will definitely come back to this hotel again
