For those who want to see the Cave symbols of Letreros: 1. You can see some from outside, at viewing point BELOW the entrance gate. A narrow street to the place is available, for routine drivers.
2. The regional Interpretation Center (for booking a tour) is often closed, also during their official office times, without notice. And no one will respond to phone calls.
In addition, I have booked a tour via official site, got E-mail confirmation - but no one was at the meeting point. Be careful.

A beautiful casa, perfectly situated near Velez blanco, with great views. A lovely quiet environment. The house has been decorated with great attention and has everything for a comfortable stay. It’s perfect for those seeking peace and quiet but also a good base for hiking/exploring de sierra de Maria.
The hotel, a charmingly renovated period property, is located in the heart of the village which makes it an ideal place to stay within walking distance of the castle. Check in was easy and staff attentive.
A very atmospheric, slightly quirky hotel, with all the basics you need. The staff were very keen to help, unfortunately our Spanish was limited though!
