Wandering this relaxed city is like taking a walk through history. From the Roman remains in the archaeological museum to the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, the architecture ranges from the dramatic to the sublime. A mix of styles from the outside, medieval Valencia Cathedral comes into its own inside. The gilt carvings and vibrantly-painted dome are a sight to behold.
The greatest triumph of city planning is the Turia River Park. Created on the bed of a redirected river, it provides much-needed shade in a city with an impressive sunshine record. Of course, you can always cool down on the fantastic beaches, lapped by warm Mediterranean waters.
Former hosts of the European Grand Prix, Valencians take their sport seriously and so they should. Try to take in a match at the 75,000-seater Valencia FC stadium to experience the electric atmosphere.

Valencia is Spain at its best. The whole city can easily be approached by foot is you're not lazy and enjoy 20 km of walking a day. Cycling is also a joy in this green city. Food costs are fairly decent.

Valencia is a city of 2 halves, The Old Town with its beautiful narrow streets, central market, botanic gardens and boutique shopping, restaurants and bars, and the modern 'The Arts' area which has to be seen to be believed and has been the 'set' of many futuristic movies. This is not to mention he amazing beaches and beautiful scenery of the surrounding areas. You'll need 4 days to do it justice, and to be honest you may not want to leave at all. Valencia really has everything you could ever want.... oh and don;t forget to visit the port with its trendy bar, restaurants and clubs... all a short walk from the beach.

We didn't get a chance to really see much of the city because I was ill but we will return to see more of it. The walks along the dried up river bed are very good though, we will see more the next time.

The weather was great even though we visited around Christmas time. We were mostly walking and wandering around the city, but public transportation is very well-connected and relatively affordable (bus ride is 1.5€). Many of the museums are free of charge and if you like art, you will be delighted to spend hours in the Museum of Fine Arts and the Ceramics Museum. Great variety of restaurants around the city centre.

Located in a busy ring road around the old town it is easy to find a taxi when needed or walk directly into the old town. Also the rooftop bar was among the nicest I’ve ever seen, very comfortable. The place is generally an Ibis-style, nondescript but functional place for a short stay. The lobby and breakfast area also remind one of a boutique-style hotel.
Wonderful boutique hotel with beautifully light neutral rooms and exceptionally comfortable beds.
Wonderful views and great toiletries. Superbe breakfast and a reception that could not have been more welcoming and helpful. A stroll to all the old town has to offer and a short walk to uber cool Russafa.
Highly recommended.
The accommodation is directly on the beach, restaurants are close by and are very good, both in terms of price and selection. Two bus stops of the hop on hop off bus are also very close to the hotel. This is also very positive. Overall, we had a good time, the reception staff is very nice!
This is a beautiful hotel. The location is excellent, allowing an easy stroll through the Old Town. Lots of restaurants and boutique shops around. The staff were very friendly and helpful- best hospitality of the places we have had so far. The experience was very calming. Can recommend.
