As the city that brought paella to the world, Valencia is a culinary delight. Don't miss out on sipping fresh, local orange juice or enjoying tasty tapas in a sidewalk café.
Wandering this relaxed city is like taking a walk through history. From the Roman remains in the archaeological museum to the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, the architecture ranges from the dramatic to the sublime. A mix of styles from the outside, medieval Valencia Cathedral comes into its own inside. The gilt carvings and vibrantly-painted dome are a sight to behold.
The greatest triumph of city planning is the Turia River Park. Created on the bed of a redirected river, it provides much-needed shade in a city with an impressive sunshine record. Of course, you can always cool down on the fantastic beaches, lapped by warm Mediterranean waters.
Former hosts of the European Grand Prix, Valencians take their sport seriously and so they should. Try to take in a match at the 75,000-seater Valencia FC stadium to experience the electric atmosphere.
As Spain’s 3rd largest city, Valencia has wild nightlife, so if that’s your cup of tea, city center hostels are a great choice. Alternatively, Booking.com also has guesthouses, central apartments and even hotels near Valencia Airport.

A vibrant city full of interesting architecture and pleasant parks. Stunning Arts & Sciences area. Flocks of parrots in colorful trees the old Turia estuary. The kids loved seeing the animals in Biopark and exploring the touch & feel science in the Science center.

A beautiful city filled with lots of historic buildings and the people were very friendly.
There are lots of great bars and restaurants and the public transport was easy to use. I would recommend staying in El Carmen and using the trams to get to the beach. It's definitely easy to walk to most places too.
The Les Arts/ Umbracle area is also a must see. We also did a couple of food markets including Mercabanyal which was great.
It was nice to see that the locals eat out in all the restaurants where we stayed and it didnt feel too touristy
We also felt incredibly safe everywhere we went

Charming historic city with a friendly party atmosphere. Always something going on. Historic buildings are beautifully restored. The centre is easily navigated by walking and the beaches and parks are accessible by bikes which are cheap to hire.

Lots of great things to see, but too much graffiti and too many poor homeless people begging. Also, I do agree with some graffiti we saw - there are too many tourists. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed it, especially the botanical gardens.

Valencia is a great city place for a three-four day city break. Lovely old city with some great places of historical interest. Central Market is a must see, and don't walk past the Estacio Nord or the town hall without looking in. A definite highlight of the city is the Oceanographic, the aquarium but that word understates how great this attraction is!

Charming boutique hotel. Excellently located in the heart of Valencia's old town. The rooms are really comfortable with beautiful interior design. Facilities were great and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming to us. We were able to store our luggage and use some facilities at the hotel after checking out as we had a late-night flight. We can't wait to return here and will recommend to all our friends.
I loved that they made an effort for my partners birthday with the prosecco and chocolates! I really appreciated it!
The hotel was on the beach front, breakfast was OK, very limited selection but the scrambled eggs and tomatoes were lovely!
The bed was comfortable I liked the idea of the light switches if you wanted a room clean or to not be disturbed
The staff were helpful and lovely!
Small hotel with good location in front of the city park with famous facilities/buildings. Reasonable cost /effectiveness ratio. Suggest to rent a bike -- there are lots of rental businesses around, it is cheap, makes fun and you see much more of this nice city.
