The location was great, with beach access and very close to the Dunes. There is a bus station across the street which is great for exploring the island by public transport (which is very easy).
The gardens, pools, and overall facilities were very well maintained and clean.
The breakfast was quite good and with a lot of good options covering different dietary preferences.
We got an upgrade to a room with private pool access, which was a nice gesture by the hotel, and that really made our stay outstanding.
The entire resort is quite unique and has huge potential, compared to some in the surrounding area.

Maspalomas is a tourist location, there isn't much else to see than the sea, beaches, dunes, hotels, pools, restaurants and shopping centres and plenty of tourists. And related activities. But that was expected and as such it was just perfect.

Maspalomas doesn't seem to have anything to offer other than its centre which is located by the beach, and as you would expect offers bars, restaurants, hotels and a casino.
Not enough to warrant a return visit for us.

We absolutely loved the promenade in Maspalomas and the choice of places to eat or have a drink . There were plenty of shops too but none of them very cheap.
The beach was lovely, but no sunbeds were available, which was a shame.
I wished our accommodation was a little nearer to Maspalomas.
Absolutely beautiful dunes, water, mountain, views everywhere. Food at local restaurants great and reasonable prices. Getting around by bus to other towns is easy. The clientele was not exacatly what we expected, that is all I shall say.

Nice touristic town, with many options regarding hospitality, restaurants etc. the dunes was the highlight of the area, followed by the beach. The area is clean, full of palm trees, spacious roads, ideal for walks and runs. The sea is often windy/wavy and bit chilly so it might not be ideal for young kinds.

It is such an incredible treat to stay at Faro. The staff are incredible, welcoming, friendly, always going that extra mile! The rooms are beautiful, a little luxury and a touch of class! The location is perfect sea views for breakfast and dinner and right on the beach for sunrise walks along the magnificent Maspalomas beach! The food is exquisite, both on menu and buffet, i defy you not to enjoy! There is nothing that disappoints about staying in Faro
This has been probably the best All Inclusive stay I’ve ever had in my life. All was close to perfect: a hotel itself, a great choice of food, swimming pools, a super friendly staff, drinks at the bars. On top of it we enjoyed two big parties: the New Year eve and Friday neon one. We will come back!
All was great. Very good location , just few seconds from the beach. Beautiful garden , nice 3 swimming pools. Breakfast was delicious, very friendly staff. The hotel deserves 5 stars
