It's a lovely picturesque bay, we visited in January and had quite chilly weather and a day of rain. Plenty to explore, however be aware that many museums, cafes, restaurants etc are closed out of season, so it was very quiet and not easy to find open places.

This is the place to base yourself for 5 days!
This is the place to base yourself for 5 days! So nice to be on the Promenade with all the boats, the beach, restaurants, views and just an overall great vacation vibe.
Must rent a car, and visit Deia, Soller and the neighboring towns. So perfect! Then spent 3 nights in Palma and visited the eastern side of the island (don't miss Santanyi and the beaches-amazing) Palma is typical small European city and we really enjoyed it too.

Pretty resort surrounded by hills. Lots of good restaurants and shops. Wonderful tram to nearby Soller and then train to Palma which is a scenic journey through beautiful countryside and orange groves. Great place to stay.

Is a beautiful bay, with a lovely combination of swimming and marina. Lots of restaurants to fit all budgets. No sports bars or peddlers selling junk. Mountain backdrop opens up lots of hiking opportunities. Tram to Soller very expensive.

Excellent resort old tram into soller worth doing although quite expensive €9 each way. Tram and vintage train to Palma very good although expensive round trip €35 would recommend doing it 1 way and getting local bus back to port soller as booth train and tram busy and a bit of a crush to get on for return journey.. Don Pedro restaurant on sea front excellent best burger I have ever had and vey reasonable

Fabulous place to stay had a relaxing holiday great restaurants found a gem of a restaurant called The Kingfisher and the Jumeriah Hotel is well worth visiting. We had lovely walks along the beach and Marina which is great for boat hire and trips. The beach was clean and not to busy will be returning.

The whole site was fantastic, we loved our stay here.
The location is perfect, as a short walk to the beach, whilst the pool facilities were great if we wanted to have a day of chilling out.
Our room had a wonderful terrace where we were able to sit and have a drink before going out for our evening, so this was a real bonus.
The buffet breakfast was unbelievable, so many options. Probably the best we've had in Mallorca.
Loved staying at Hotel Esplendido, it really was a fabulous location with luxurious facilities and friendly staff.
Breakfast was plentiful and the dinners I had were really fab, the hotel is definitely the best location there, highly recommended!
