We were greeted by a very friendly host Ana. Car parking was available undercover (small cost),
Our room was on the 3rd floor and had a private terrace and a view of a windmill.
The room was clean and comfortable and everything you need for a visit. Large TV with Netflix.
Breakfast was supplied and substantially better than expected with toast, juice, water, fresh fruits, tea, coffee.

Incredible place to see the windmills and the castle on the hill and to discover the history.
But.... depending on the time of the year and the night of the week you may find no restaurants/cafes/food options open in town. Google maps advised services were open only to arrive and nothing was open.
There are 2 supermarkets to pick up supplies so be prepared to cook your own food.

The windmills were the main attraction and it was great that parking was available for those unable to climb the hills.
We also quite enjoyed eating at El Gaudy Restaurant pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food, it’s presentation and for a great price!

Consuegra is a good location to visit the windmills and castle above the town and they are very well worth a visit.
There is not a great deal of choice of hotels in the town and with the benefit of hindsight I would have visited the windmills and castle in the morning and then had lunch near the Plaza España at restaurant Gaudy which is absolutely terrific. There are very few bars in Consuegra and the only 2 we found did not open until 20.00 hours or later in the evening. While there are a good number of restaurants open for lunch they are mainly closed in the evenings, certainly during the week. To sum up, make it a day visit and stay somewhere else.

After a month in Spain and so many hotels I can say this was the loveliest place we stayed. The hotel is beautiful. The beds comfortable, the location perfect. The host was very helpful. The breakfast was very nice and well-presented. OJ was fresh. The patio for our room had a view of the windmills. I recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.

Interesting walking through the old town and the Plaza Espana. Also interesting to people watch along the promenade by the (waterless) river. Plenty of choices for snacks and drinks - almost like chiringuitos but miles from the beach!
A drive or a walk up to the windmills and castle is well worth taking. Handy for dog walking too.

We went to see Don Quixote's windmills.
We went to see Don Quixote's windmills. There are 13 windmills along a ridge plus a castle. Its very photogenic. One of the windmills has been made into a museum and another a bar, which was packed with locals at 11 pm! Lovely.
The Plaza Espana has a couple of restaurant/bars and there are other lovely restaurants around the town, some are very up market!

We loved this beautifully furnished, carefully run hotel. Blanca on Reception was fantastic - very helpful and friendly.
Rooms were gorgeous. We booked our return journey North as we enjoyed our stay travelling South so much.
Breakfasts were very good, with a lovely display of fresh and appealing choices on offer.
We booked this hotel to take a break driving from the north of Spain to the south, attracted by the town's association with the windmills from the Don Quixote novel. The hotel was basic, clean, great shower, friendly host - everything you need for a one night stay. Bathroom and bedroom were both spacious.
Very clean, the receptionist polite and friendly, quite location, comfortable beds, spacious, parking outside the hotel.
We parked our motorcycle in front of the hotel.
Near the Molinos (mills) of Consuegra.
Very nice stay!
Nice rural hotel close to the "Oncs molinos de Consuegra).
The garden and pool are perfect to spend time at.
Delicious breakfast.
Really enjoyed staying there.
A unique and beautifully restored old tower, in the centre of Consuegra, easy parking and very friendly, welcoming owners. Fully deserving of its high rating.
