Much quieter than Pattaya and beach cleaner.Plenty of bars,resteraunts ,coffee shops etc. Meals in bars and resteraunts appear to be more expensive than Pattaya.Generally bar price for drinks good San Miguel 60-80 baht. Plenty of free pool tables unlike Pattaya where most bars charge 20bht per game. More enjoyable environment than Pattaya.

Not far from the hotel, about 5 minutes walk, there is a HUGE outdoor food market. If you want to well and cheaply - this is the place to go!
Not lited as an attraction on the Booking.com site - there is a MUST SEE place just a little way out of town. It's called the Sanctuary of Truth. It's a temple and a museum of sorts - and it's quite a spectacular building. Well worth a visit. Overall my stay was great. Some aspects of hotel are dated. One I would like to see upgraded is the shower head which did not give the best balanced mix of hot and cold water plus it was a fixed head whereas I like to have a flexible head with a hose.

Most of the staff were fantastic the air con you could not control unless you took out the card for electric. Pools and pool area was clean and beautiful with showers and toilets and pool towels. Great for family a range of food at the pool side bar and the restaurant which is open to the public of an evening as the entrance to the restaurant is on the street. Beach, Bars, restaurants and shops right on your doorstep. Hemingway's was our favourite proper English pub with a telephone box for show. Would defo go back

I have used Bookings.Com forever without knowing I should check what type of accommodation I’m booking.
Cococabana is not a hotel. It’s an impressive 59 floor, 1644-unit condominium on Jomtien Beach soi 9. The rules of the building do not allow short term rentals of less than a month. Because of this the task of finding the key to my room was an adventure.
I eventually realized I had to phone a number in China. I was then sent a What’s App text telling me to make my way to a parking space on the second floor, open the trunk of the car there, find a numbered black lock box among about 50 such boxes, open with a code provided in the text and find the key to my room.
My room on the 36th floor was a tastefully decorated but quite small two room unit with a nice view of the gulf. TV in each room but alas no TV channels, Netflix and You Tube only.

No daily room cleaning
There is nobody on-site to help, all communication is through What’s App, sometimes response is relatively quick, other times less so.
In summary, admittedly partly my fault, I thought I was booking a regular hotel room and not a condo unit.
I prefer hotels to condos.

It has everything you need, connections to a lot of places to Pattaya and a beach in front of the hotel. You also had access to play Billard or Bowling inside the same hotel. The room was always impecable and made me glad when I got back and saw everything in pristine condition and free water it's such a little big detail for me. The pool was great and if you just wanted to go to the beach, just have to walk a couple of meters and lay in a chair or on the sand and enjoy your day.
Breakfast is basic American breakfast. OK. Dinner room is a little warm.
The deluxe room face the ocean. Great view. Hotel located in the quieter part of Jomtien Beach. Jomtien Beach is in the quieter part of Pattaya. Very good for a relaxing vacation away from the hustle and bustle of Pattaya.
It's a bit further away from the main attractions and main locations. Once you've figured out how to use tuk tuk's and Bolt, you'll be OK.
The location is perfect for the solo traveler. Beach front access, plenty of places to eat within walking distance, a 7Eleven right downstairs within 10-15 steps. The staff was very friendly and helpful to carry my luggage upstairs as it's a 3 story walkup. Room was big and spacious, ac cooled perfectly. Didn't travel to spend time inside a hotel room, thoroughly enjoyed my long weekend in Pattaya.
Good location with nice pool approx 200 metres from Jomtien Beach. You can catch a bus from the beach road to Pattaya City centre. Modern hotel with friendly staff and a great breakfast selection
