It's the best option if you are planning your trip to Kalam. I stayed at their Deluxe Room, and everything was perfect. Especially I would mention the food, which is so good that it surprised me. The manager, Najamuddin, at the reception was very polite and courteous. The staff is very responsive. A must recommendation!!!

It used to be a great place for holidays but now there is a lot of commercial activity with unregulated construction has damaged the natural beauty of the valley and its outskirts. The road from Bahrain to Kalam is broken in patches and is not recommended for small cars. Not recommended to visit unless you have a plan to explore valleys around and outskirts with less population.

I started my journey from islamabad to Kalam valley. In the month of June, it was too hot in Swat and Bahrain (40 and 41 C). In kalam weather was bit normal till 30 C. The road has broken patches from Bahrain till Kalam valley.
