Wonderful little village with beautiful sites to see. great walking street with many shops. the sandworm experience was once fun and then to have a lifetime experience to stand in the sand and let the water from two different oceans wash over your feet.
Raberg Mile was amazing to see even if it was a in the middle of a huge rainfall. The Sand buried church was really cool to see and just a short 400km walk from the parking lot. This town is a must see if you're traveling in Denmark.

It’s a nice town to stop and visit but unless you’re staying longer to go to the beach, one day/one and a half should be enough to rent a bike and visit Grenen (the northern part of Denmark), the history museum (with the bunkers from WWII), the art museum and the ruins of a church. Walking around the city centre is quite nice as well.

It is a great place to spend a night.
It is a great place to spend a night. The village itself is small but lovely and ooze out the fisherman-type village atmosphere that you found dotted along the Northern European coast. It also contains several supermarkets where you can get grocery for your cooking.
The best place of interest is of course Grenen, the most Northern tip of Denmark in which if you come during winter time, expect to walk about 2.5 km. from the parking lot to the tip. In summer, there are local tractor that will help transport you.
Last but not least, don't miss the Skagen lighthouse, the view from the top is excellent and it has a good museum that tells you all about the bird migration. Also, the sand-covered church, although simple, its history is quite interesting.

It's located in the outskirts of Skagen, so unless you have a car, you'll need to walk for at least 40 min to reach down town. For hikers, the though, the location is great - between Skagen and former Old Skagen, now Højen.

Skagen is a tourist hot spot, victim to mass tourism like (in Europe) Venice, London, Amsterdam, Rome etc. You would not like to go there in high season, especially during July. Out of high season, however, you will appreciate that the weather is better than average in Denmark. Use this to your advantage, because when most of the high season invasion has receeded to their upper class ghettos, Skagen is really a cosy and romantic place with a lot to offer the casual traveller.

A good place to calm down for a few days, especially now in the in-between-seasons time. Still enough guests that a selection of restaurants, cafe and bars are still open. Great place to spend some time at beach enjoying the fresh breeze and the view between the 2 seas.
Toftegarden Guesthouse is a super place to stay in the beautiful town of Skagen. It has everything you could ask for, including a sauna and wellness area. The hosts have thought of everything. The location is about a 10 minute walk to the main street and a 20 minute walk from the beach. I would highly recommend
Great place to stay in Skagen. The rooms were larger than most throughout our Denmark holiday. Clean and neat. The breakfast was exceptional. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was close to restaurants, shopping strip and only a short walk to the beach. Would highly recommend this to others.
Loved our stay at Hotel Marie, we were in an apartment at the front of the building and it had two spacious bedrooms, a good bathroom, and even a mini kitchenette with an oven and dishwasher!
Hotel Staff was really friendly
The room was well decorated and you felt welcome from the beginning on.
Parking was included and only a few minutes walk into town .
