Kormakitis is a really unique location and a very different holiday experience to the rest of Cyprus. There's nothing quite like it, especially in the North. There's not much to "do", but it's great for a laid back, restful time. We loved wandering through the village admiring the beautiful homes and Christmas decorations, and attending 7:30 am mass at the church. The hotel itself is also lovely and cozy. The fireplace is especially nice in the winter, and Angelica is a very welcoming host.

The village is wonderful view into the way Cyprus used to be, it is so peaceful, and the sense of community is intense.
Its a beautiful place, near some lovely beaches, and the people in the village were incredibly helpful when we got our car stuck, and they refused payment for their time and energy.
