PARKING: open air unpaved field in the camping/cabins area. The host let me put my bike under a roof of another building, since the day was very windy.
CHECK-IN: easy, the host just waits for you to arrive and welcome you giving all the instructions.
STAFF: nice and friendly, willing to tell you about the area around and their camping features.

SIZE: enough for 2 people to sleep, cook little meals and enjoy the area from the patio of the cabin. Very nicely decorated and lovely set up. A charming surprise.

Molde is at the western coast of Norway. There is plenty of rainy weather, but when the sun shines, there is hardly a better place to visit. The stunning beauty of the mountains across the fiord is absolutely magnificent.
There are nice hotels, but the prices are quite high to be a city of the size of less than 30K citizens. Maybe the cost-level reflects the history of tourism when the royal families from different nations of Europe frequented this part of Norway.
You will find friendly staff at all places, but you could also pop into those who might take you as a visitor for granted. Maybe if you smile, you could get somebody smiling back to you.

A beautiful city in Norway. We drove around all the small towns and did the 'James Bond' spectacular Atlantic Road drive. It was worth driving from Bergen and taking magnificent pictures along the way.

Interesting building with a stunning view (booked a room with balcony which was definitely worth the extra money). Superb breakfast with a lot of variety. Great coffee. Fast elevator. Within walking distance to the centre of Molde.
Hotel has an onsite restaurant and bar. Plenty of parking at back of hotel (free overnight). Good bakery opposite for morning breakfast - who wants to eat breakfast in a bar area smelling of last night's beer?
Spacious room, very clean bathroom with several amenities, like body lotion, hair conditioner, etc.
The breakfast was also very nice with plenty of options.
